We are at our cabin in the north woods of Wisconsin so we’ve spent most of our time outdoors. We’ve raked leaves, cleared the gardens and have had a couple campfires. Dinner is in the crockpot. Tonight we’ll get together with friends to play cards. My kind of weekend!

I use very little " technology" on an every day basis. ( I put technology in brackets as it depends what you mean by the word) I write shopping list with a pen and paper I don't have many apps on my phone and what I do have I use very infrequently. I've used non so far today I wash the kitchen floor with a mop and bucket having swept it with a brush first. I do gardening without technology but DH does use an electric mower to cut the lawn. I did do the laundry in a machine but I hung it outside to dry. I very rarely use my dryer and only then because the of the weather. I have two wind up clocks in my house and a battery operated watch so I don't use my phone for the time. I haven't had my television on so far today but it is only 12.30pm here. I haven't used the car either today. I think it depends on what you interpret as " technology" though if you want a true answer to everything one does on a daily basis. There's very little one can do without some part of it being classed as "technology" at some time or another. I specified the technology I meant which is phone, computer or tv. Devices that have access to the virtual world. The more advanced kinds.

We took our grandson for a long walk, splashed in muddy puddles and took conkers home for Mummy. I cooked a Sunday roast from scratch. Planned my week's meals with pen and paper, my cookery books and a shopping list. I am going to go to bed shortly and read a paperback book.

I called out to work this morning and slept most of the day. I felt like the guy from Office Space.
I wrote in my notebook some plans to create an album
I went for a walk to go find the Full Moon rise. I had my phone with me (it was nighttime) to take a photo of it but I didn’t look at my phone while walking.

very cool idea! it's amazing how much time I can spend with an electronic device, without even realizing it.
over the weekend:
-- we took the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood -- I spent some time brushing and trimming both dogs (they have a TON of hair so it's never really 'done'); it's a nice way to spend one-on-one time with them. -- yesterday I hung my laundry on the rack out on the patio to dry... I absolutely love the smell of outside-dried laundry! -- I took a handwritten list to the store for shopping (I hate using an app or my phone for shopping lists) -- last night I did a lot of prep work for a complicated dish I'm going to cook tonight for dinner- I did a lot of chopping, sauteing, etc. It was actually very satisfying in a 'creative' sort of way-- meaning 'creating' something new (and hopefully tasty!) from a bunch of individual ingredients.

--I cooked dinner from scratch (stopped at a farm stand.) I made up the recipe in my head. --I journaled with a pen and paper. --played with the dog and cats for a long time yesterday. --went to the fair to see all the agricultural exhibits. Loved the draft horse wagon competition, the friendly 4-H goats, the 2,000+ pound giant pumpkin winner, contest for farthest distance of dogs jumping off a dock into a long swimming pool (25 ft won!), found the queen bee in a beehive exhibit, saw the weirdest looking chicken -- it looked like a poodle.

--I cooked dinner from scratch (stopped at a farm stand.) I made up the recipe in my head. I did this yesterday as well!
This morning, I sat in the drive through at the bank for a few minutes before realizing the sign said it's closed today. Didn't check my phone for the bank website, just read the sign like a pioneer woman doing her banking, but in a car, not on a horse.
And after the bank snafu, I drove around a neighborhood randomly trying to find a place I'd been to TWICE in the last 2 weeks, rather than look up the exact location on a map. It felt adventurous! The address I remembered was 2 blocks off, but I had time, and found it, much like the pioneer women found their new therapist's office, only again, I was driving a car, not riding a horse.

We went to a couple state parks that today and a county park to look at autumn leaves and just take in the incredibly gorgeous scenery here in Pittsburgh. It’s my first fall here and I am blown away at the scenery.

Plans today before work:
Write about my divine connection encounter with this customer yesterday
Keeping tv off all day because it was on a lot yesterday
Eat lunch without any distractions
I’m just super out of it today to do anything and every time I pick up my phone to explore social media, I feel a comfort and forward energy, but it might just actually be me escaping from the present moment.

I really struggled with this today. I'm on a work trip, so I don't have the comforts of home for things like cooking or cleaning.
The only thing I could think of - which is something i do everyday - is hand write my work to do list. I like to spend 10 minutes on that each morning to start my day. I have running lists on my computer, but i prefer my daily to be handwritten, with checkboxes that I make.
Otherwise: - worked out - but used my phone to stream a workout at the hotel gym - walked to lunch - but used Yelp to pick the restaurant and maps on my phone to walk there - Read a little, but on my kindle - talked to friends, but did so via text and messenger and Instagram
The rest of the day I've been on the phone or computer!

I find it interesting how many posted their list making on paper. I usually make a list in my phone using talk to text

Yesterday: Went to the store with a paper list. (Almost always paper) Cooked, laundry, trash, litter, organized.... I find it interesting how many posted their list making on paper. I usually make a list in my phone using talk to text I have a note on my phone that I add things to when I think about them, but I also have a paper sheet on the side of the refrigerator that I add to. I combine the 2 lists when I do my meal planning. Sometimes I write it out and sometimes I type it up. But I like a paper version for actually shopping with if there are more than a few items. Just old school, I guess.

My lists are almost always on paper: sticky notes, the backs of envelopes, paper scraps, the backs of old printed sheets torn or folded in half. The only “notes” I keep on my phone are ongoing ones or ones I need sporadically over time.

I have a huge sheet of dry erase on my door in my kitchen. Everyone writes what they want from the store. Whoever shops, takes a pic of the list.

I read paperback books I garden {but I require technology to order supplies} I am a lead trainer at work and I keep journals of projects/agenda items/challenges/ideas. I keep subfolders {actual physical folders} of components of the project I’m working on. I actually get up from my desk and go talk to people as opposed to emailing or calling.

White Spectral Wind
This morning I started writing in my notebook about a new diet I'm going on called Gaia's Garden This afternoon I went to work and I actually used my phone a lot for all the photo opportunities that came up and to share photos on my phone for others including the project manager for the remodel that is happening, but it was a beautiful experience because these were synchronistic messages that came from his brother who passed away 2 years ago. And the connection I felt with him while I was sharing this with him felt beyond virtual and physical. This evening I plan to write more ideas in this new diet plan that has to do more than food, but also lifestyle.
