I have the big shot, sizzix big red, revolution and a small hand held cutter. And a cameo and baby cricut. I need to get an automatic / electronic machine. What do you recommend?

What is your reason for wanting to purchase another when you already have so many?

Can you clarify what you mean by automatic/electronic machine? Are you looking for something like the Big Shot that cuts with dies, but is powered by electricity rather than hand cranked?

I want one so I don’t have to hand crank it. I am having issues with my arm and hand. I thought it might be easier for me to use.

I have a Vagabond. Most of my crafting friends have the Gemini Jr. Both machines cut great but the Gemini would edge out the Vagabond on intricate dies. As someone with arthritis in my hands, I do appreciate the platform on the Vagabond that allows me to build my sandwich right on the machine. The Gemini does not have this so you have to build your sandwich, pick it up and feed it through. I mass produce cards so for me, this is a big drawback.
There is also a Big Shot Express but I don't have any personal experience with this machine. Like the regular Big Shot, it does have a platform to build your sandwich.
I won't be in the market for a new machine until the Vagabond bites the dust. That's a good thing because I don't want to give Sizzix/Ellison my money and I'm not sure how my hands would handle the Gemini.

I don't have one, but I want a gemini jr. I've only read/watched good things about it!

If you get a Vagabond, be sure you get a version 2. The first version lacked the sensor that can stop something too thick from going in and breaking the gears. Sizzix replaced my original twice but they are not doing that any more. They are not selling that one any more, but there may be some offered on eBay and other sites.
I like the Vagabond, and with the magnetic platform it cuts intricate dies quite well. I sometimes use a metal shim too.

Another Vagabond user. I still have some of the original thick sizzix dies, and some of the Tim Holtz Bigz, so I need to be able to run them. Gemini will not take the bigger ones.
I like the platforms also, and that it folds up and can be stored upright or on its side, much easier than a bigger machine. I did take the guides off my platforms. For some reason they irritated me and made it harder for me to lay everything out.
I bought mine before Sizzix pulled their sue-crazy stunt. And I have not purchased any Sizzix products since the craziness. That would make me pause for a minute, but having arthritis like swelling and pain in my fingers, I will most likely replace the Vagabond, when it dies, with another Vagabond, and not the Gemini. Looks like to me, the holding and feeding of those mats might be painful with repeated use.

I have the original Big Shot Express and after 10 years it is starting to have some issues due to all the plastic parts. After reading a lot of reviews, I'm leaning towards the Vagabond2 this time around. It is the platform that is the biggest selling point for me.

I have a Vagabond too. I really like it when I remember to use it.

Thank you all for your responses. It sounds like the Vagabond will be best for me since it has the platform. Thanks again.
