I haven't subbed for many years, but still follow them and receive emails. They did send out a statement saying that they were changing their shipping and weren't sure how it would be affected this month. They asked for patience and a little slack when it came to the shipping. I'm sure it's new for them too and they are doing the best they can. I would wait until next month to see how it is before you complain a lot. Although, a quick email telling them how much longer it took to your area may help them going forward. Just my thoughts.

I’ve subbed since February. This month was the first time they’ve used this method to ship. Christine has explained that usps rates are going up again so using ups mail innovations to keep our price the same. Mine actually got to me faster this month. I think the main issue with mail innovations is that ups and yaps have to communicate to get our tracking time updated and that doesn’t always happen. So you don’t get minute by minute tracking. There’s been a lot of kerfuffle on the Facebook group but there’s not much that’s going to be done about it. Shipping costs go up. I know, I ship a lot for my work. My box got here on the 12th. It’s uaually more like the 15th on the old way, sometimes later. I love my cd stuff so much that I don’t really care when it comes. I’m not trying to be handslappy but the solution to not having higher shipping was longer shipping.

Well I managed to delete my post but anyway I wasn’t trying to cause issues. I was just curious. I’m not in the Facebook group.
I understand that shipping costs go up. I understand that this was a new shipping method this month. I am not a tracking stalker.
Sigh.
Please ignore this, as I can’t delete the thread. Thanks.

I apologize songbird I wasn’t trying to make you feel as if your question wasn’t valid. I’m a bit testy because the Facebook group was nuts over the weekend. I got jumped on by a few people who were making the cd shipping issue the root of all their problems.

I totally didn't think you were causing issues! And, I hope my answer didn't come across as rude! I was just stating that I had read about the new shipping issues because I didn't know if you, or others, had seen that same info. I totally get how much it sucks to wait for goodies! Sorry if my post was taken wrong.

People get insane with their shipping, so I try to keep myself in check because I don’t want to be in that camp-ever. Haha.

I just re-subbed last month. I'm trying to quit CD, because I can't use it as fast as I get it, but it's all just so pretty. The frustrating thing is no matter which kit you get, the item you really wish you had is in another kit -- washi, alphas, stamp, etc. They didn't have any alphas in the memory kits this month, and the pocket kit no longer comes with washi. I need to just quit and then not look any more!
I noticed shipping was different, but I don't think I got mine any later than usual. I'm always looking forward to getting it, but I don't really watch for it.

The October kit had one alpha in each and an alpha stamp in one and number stamp in another. There was an alpha stamp in June I believe as well. The September and August kit had alphas too. I’ve noticed she’s more generous with the tn kit. But the pocket kit has more design flair to it with the art work on the cards. So I feel it justifies the extra set of papers and alphas in the tn kit. I think I just outed myself as a groupie! Lol I do love their stuff. My stash is piling up because I’ve been working on my Disney albums but I’ve got most of my stuff eat marked for projects so I know I’ll catch up eventually.

Lol, you’re right about the alphas, there was a sticker sheet, and I guess the October stamp counts too. Last year they always had either a puffy or mini sticker alpha, which I liked better, and the memory kit always had washi. I’m just a whiner because there are little things in the other kits I want too! I told myself I would not subscribe this year, but I ended up buying lots of kit leftovers and then resubscribing. So far, I always use quite a bit of each kit. I love seeing all of the things you do with your kits and journals!

I haven’t gotten mine yet and I was just starting to wonder what’s going on. It seems to be taking longer than usual. I guess I’ll have to be a bit more patient—which I admit that I’m not very good at.

My international shipping was about the same delivery time; just received it today. Does anyone know of any alternative monthly planner kits? I find the CD very theme heavy (eg Fall) which is not always appropriate to where I live. Also, I dont need things like the pen each month. Would love any suggestions.

So I’m not the only one super irritated about this! It’s been SEVEN days and I still don’t have it. Priority mail is TWO days. I don’t hi k it’s reasonable to get a kit over 2 weeks after you paid.

Mine arrived yesterday evening at 7 PM. I opened it but haven’t taken everything out to look it over yet.
I’m just going to hope that things will work out and get a little better over the next few months. It’s still here in plenty of time for me personally to prep for the next month.

CD is pretty much my *perfect* match. Anyway, i was seriously though lamenting that CD's customer service was no where near Trina's at Citrus Twist! She has always gone WAY out of her way to have amazing service. It also helps, i'm sure that i live about an hour or so from her, lol, so everything was 1 day once it was shipped.

Cd is my perfect match too! What they lack in good communication they get me with the amazing designs! Trina was the sweetest person and that’s why I kept subbing for so long, even though the kits weren’t inspiring me. I felt guilty quitting but I’m much more inspired by the cocoa daisy kits.

I figured as soon as I commented, my kit would arrive. It was at my house when I got home from work today.

Their shipping rates are high...they should be able to send everything for the flat rate cost they charge. I ordered the kits last month and no way did it cost them the $8.95 it cost me to ship and that's looking at a consumer rate, not the business rates that they likely pay. Since they no longer produce or sell 12x12 papers, I don't understand how they still manage to charge so much for shipping. Even though my packages from Gossamer Blue started out priority and eventually changed to first class with no change in shipping rates, the most I ever paid was $5.95 to ship. It irked me to pay that much for shipping from Cocoa Daisy, but it was a one time splurge for me because fall products have been a colossal miss for me this year other than that kit.
On top of that, one of the kits was missing something and I had to follow up a 2nd time because the customer service person forgot to send it the first time. At least their customer service seemed a bit more prompt than what others are suggesting. Their website didn't work with PayPal on my mobile and no matter how many times I said their site caused an unpaid 2nd order (that I was easily able to cancel on my end) the person I was talking to REPEATEDLY blamed me for the issue rather than what I repeated to them, which was their site has issues connecting to PayPal on a mobile device. How hard would it have been to reply with 'I'm so sorry that you had those issues, we'll look into this and see why our site isn't communicating with PayPal on mobile devices'?

My kit took 8 days to get to me, usually takes 3 days. I was annoyed and I’ve always hated Mail Innovations. It seems like I’m paying more than enough to get 2-3 day shipping. I love Cocoa Daisy, but I hate slow shipping. It makes me feel like I’m being cheated.
I’d rather pay a few dollars more than wait several extra days and I hate it when companies go the cheap route to get the poorest quality to save a few dollars. I would like an option of how I want to ship my product and not a seriously jacked-up shipping option if it was offered in the future where the shipping doesn’t match standard pricing.
I order packages from other places of the same size and weight for a few dollars cheaper shipping than what I’m paying now and they get here in 2-3 days so what’s the deal with this? Are we subsidizing the boxes or maybe the international shipping costs? I don’t know, but, yes, I feel annoyed about it.
I also don’t like being told not to complain or told to hold off complaining until after I get my package and then email. What are we, children? As a woman especially, it sets a bad taste in my mouth. Do male-run companies treat their male customers like children and tell them to hold off on complaining until later? Hmmmm...

I've subbed to CD for over 2 1/2 years. Getting various kits, and many times multiple kits a month. I was annoyed and disappointed when I first received the email about this new change. There have been many changes in CD's policies since I have been a subscriber and I was aggravated by yet another change. I figured this new shipping method would take longer, contrary to the email where they said this was a favor to us to get our packages faster. I wish she would have been honest, and just said that it was a way for them to pay lower rates since USPS keep increasing postage costs.
Anyway, I received my package in almost the same amount of time as usual. Even though the tracking told me my package would take 6 days, they shipped on Wednesday and I received it on Saturday. With Priority mail it was always 2 days. I can definitely understand being annoyed that this new method is making many of you get your packages later.
As much as I enjoy my CD box each month, I think the policy changes will eventually push me out.
