My cards are getting late. I hope to get them out this week! It's only Dec 2nd. You're good. I've been actually holding back all my domestic ones trying to decide when to mail. Even if there's late arrivals, they are welcome in my world. Lengthens the time of pea-joy!

We do have some very talented card makers in the group. I’m not among them but I do appreciate the hard work even the simplest card requires.

Even if I get way behind it will still put a smile on faces if they are late! I had them all done, then I donated 50 and need to make those up still

I like getting cards all through December! It’s fun to get a few on multiple days rather than all at once. I’ve sent out 50 so far and now I need to finish up the rest.

I mailed most of mine last Friday and will mail the remaining ones after my stamps arrive. I ordered from USPS because I really dislike going in the post office but wanted Christmas stamps not generic flags.

And my sister, karenlou, and I were away together for a weekend crop and made some of the same cards! Many of both of ours were made using up old papers but then we made cute snowflake wreaths and stars hanging from branches!

Oh, I knew I'd seen those papers/designs somewhere! I had seen (but not watched) a video about that kit and then got Christine's card yesterday christinebk I think? I was trying to remember where I'd seen the tree before. I'm fine with getting multiples. Every card is unique, whether it's the postage, washi tape on the outside, and of course the message inside. And the PP designs are really lovely

For those that have done this before (or for those who have sent cards internationally from the U.S. before)—how long does it typically take for a card to get from the U.S. to an international destination? I’m hoping to get mine mailed on Monday..hopefully that will be enough time for international. I ordered stamps from USPS website and they are set to be delivered Friday. International mail usually takes about a week, maybe 2 during the holidays. I mail to NZ all the time and it's usually not bad. Occasionally a small delay because they only get delivery every other day. But I often send cards as late as the 12th or so and they seem to get there just fine. If anyone needs help getting labels printed I used avery.com and the process was pretty easy and free. I didn't have to use any special software - it's all done online. LMK if you want coaching on how to do it.

The best things about ordering through usps online are 1. they have ALL the stamps - most post offices don't get most of the stamps and 2. they put you on their stamp catalog mailing list so you get to see all the cool artworks coming up, before the post office clerks even know what's coming. And $1.25 or so postage is a small price to pay to avoid the post office this time of year!

I'm often envious of the people in the swap. Maybe it will still be going in 15 years when I retire and am no longer a teacher

I finally finished all my cards and will mail them tomorrow. I love opening my mailbox and seeing the cards in there. Not to sound too corny, but it's a feeling of happiness and joy that lifts my spirits. Thanks everybody!

Loving all the cards I am getting. So much creativity in the handmade cards! I love the thought that went into every card that comes my way. My first batch of cards went out today and the rest should go out in the next day or so. I’m hand addressing and my handwriting suffers at best if I hurry. Ha!

Thank you to the peas who offered to send some cards to me. I don't typically give out my real name/address since I work in a public school system and in the past we've had people take things off the board and contact the district. One year I will be able to participate

Every year we each (my hubby and kids)pull 2-3 cards we love. These cards go on my Pea Holiday Wall of Fame. I was hanging them up and kept smiling over and over...some favorties the Star Wars ones, The bell on Bob's tail ring, the Two story bus, Snowmen,Snowglobe,The Kangroo, 2Peas with scarves, Santa Claus, Classic Christmas greetings and on and on.... But I will say my all time favorite was a card of two birds in seperate nests and the caption reads to the bird with the Christmas explosion decorated nest...You've got to take a break from Pinterest. Thank you ladies for filling my home with joy each holiday season. It was a hard year and it is beautiful to have the joy y'all send. Thank you, enjoy!!!

I have completed my cards and get them in the mail tomorrow, providing we don't have a skating rink. Some freezing moisture is in the forecast. Anyway, I have some extras; would it be inappropriate to post to the forum that I would send a card to the first 10 that post and pm me their address? Wasn't sure if I needed to be exclusive to those on the exchange list. Really enjoying the cards I'm receiving. Since this was my first year and didn't think about what type of cards to send, maybe this next year I will have more time to be creative.

I think that's a sweet idea, another a fellow pea did was give them to a local senior home.
