Did anyone watch last night? Ok. I'm getting the trend of technology is Evil, right? Not sure I like it though. The other question I have is. what's her names husband? I thought he was dead?! She sure acts like it. Esp with her attraction to the Priest in the making. The other thing I don't like is the endings. They end unfinished...ok. so the parents killed the kid? how? where? etc. etc. I'm sort of liking, but not really..if that makes sense. Just seems like it leaves me with more questions then answers.

I watched. I'm not sure if the husband is dead and she's not telling the girls or if the creepy little girl is right and he will end up dead later. I wanted more to last night's story about the boy-that could've been a 2-parter. I think there will be all kinds of twists and turns. I'm liking it so far, but man those little girls all talking at once really get on my last nerve! I have 3 granddaughters and when they're all together they DO NOT sound like that.

I just finished watching it. I need more details to that story. It sure looked like that kid was a sociopath, and that he tried to kill his sister. But the camera tilt at the end when the group was coming up to the house, ready to perform the exorcism. That perspective shift was telling us that all was not the way it seems. Something with that story line is wrong. I wonder if somehow it is the mom doing the terrible things and blaming her son for them. Or maybe it was just to foreshadow the news that the kid was missing/they killed him.
There was a line in there that bothered me. She asked the priest if he thought god would make a 9 year old psychopath. And the priest said no. And she agreed with him. And that blew me away. Because in my professional career, I have seen 1 for sure elementary aged sociopath. It absolutely exists, and it is terrifying. Highly uncommon, but not unheard of. For someone with all of her experience it seems overly naïve for her to just discount that this kid is a sociopath, or that it could be an option.
The VR goggles. That story line is scary. That game is creepy AF. And the idea that some random creep can hack parental controls to suck a kid into a dangerous situation for any reason scares the hell out of me. I don’t necessarily think that the message is that technology is evil. But more to stay vigilant because predators can still reach your kids even if you take precautions. And that can happen in the absence of technology.
I think the dad is dead. I think they’ll find out in the next episode. I’ve been waiting for the dad to wind up dead since the first episode when they said he was away on a climbing adventure.

I wanted more to last night's story about the boy-that could've been a 2-parter. I think there will be all kinds of twists and turns. I thought there would be more too. It seemed like they were going somewhere with the goggles/game. They made it seem like the boy was playing the game too. I thought they were going to say it was the game causing him to do the things he did.

I think the goggles boy was a forewhadowing of what could happen with the daughters.

See I got the impression that she was saying God didn't create him as a psychopaths something else made him a psychopath.

I thought this was the worst episode so far. I agree that it felt unfinished and it was almost easy to miss that the parents killed the boy (or probably did). Out of all the new shows I'm watching, this is the one I'm most likely to give up on.

I love this show. It leaves it open to interpretation a bit. Missed George the last two weeks. Was hoping he was a regular part of the show.
It left it finished. They killed the boy. Their part was done. They aren’t cops.

?? What googles boy? And foreshadowing how? The possibly psychopath boy who was to be the subject of the exorcism. The episode started with him playing with the virtual reality goggles and using the same program the girls use later. A foreshadowing of what may come with the girls as they are on the same path the goggles boy went down and could end up in the same situation with the demons that the boy did.

She should have taken the goggles away when she found they were on a site too old for them.
I hope the dad isn’t dead. I want him to come back and see that play out.
I fell asleep a little in the middle so I missed the parents may have killed the boy.

It was the very ending that the killing was implied

I watched. I'm so confused about this show. So, the little girl that showed up in the virtual reality game, is she gone or do you think that she will show up again? And on last night's episode, was the lady a prophet? Is that the end of that story? I hope they are going to tie some of this together.
I'll say this again... the writers of this show sure do love noisy kids. I almost couldn't watch the daycare scenes- so much background noise. I guess I'm just old haha.

They need to start weaving some of this stuff together. I like the different plot lines every week, and I’m ok with the open ended endings (sort of-I prefer closure but I feel like something BIG is building). But it’s time to start putting pieces together in the frame.
I do not understand her cutting that guy. At all. That seems seriously out of character for her. And it’s monumentally stupid. Of course he will make a stink about it. She’s going to wind up getting her kids removed from her care.

When she cut him I thought it was a dream at first.
