It touched down a mile south of my Nephew, no damage and he's ok.

We are in Dallas Co and had to take cover for almost an hour.
Right now there is a severe storm warning until 1:15 and honestly it sounds worse out there now. I'm up and waiting it out.

We are in Allen and suffered no damage in the first wave. The 2nd wave that came through was pretty scary for us for a short while but we all came through ok.

We too are in Allen. 2nd wave brought a close call, but we are okay. My son attends high school down by 635 and the DNT. Tons of destruction down there but his school is safe.

It was just a little south of us and sirens went off for a few minutes. It was very close to my office, which is shut down today.
Looks like traffic is a nightmare this morning.
Hope everyone else is safe!

Another Allenite here...no issues here although a friend of mine who lives a mile south in Plano lost power for a good portion of the night.

I saw the coverage as I woke this morning and my heart goes out to all affected. The pictures are utterly devastating and I am relieved that all of you in the area that have reported in are safe. It brought back memories of my years in Oklahoma as a child.

I hate to see all that damage to so many businesses. So many people are going to be out of work, at least temporarily.

My cousin is in Preston and lost her roof, trees are down and fences, too but her BIL's house is completely gone! It's a miracle that there were not more injuries.

Allen here, too. No damage, but my dh's office at LBJ and Greenville was damaged. Their conference room is trashed.
