I made my kit for November. I tried to put in less papers. I had 30 in October and made 32 pages. I still probably have 10 whole papers left and lots of scraps. I’m moving on to this new kit. Beautiful selection!

My dh and ds have been hanging out this weekend so I’ve gotten a lot of crafty time in. I’m working with my October Cocoa Daisy TN kit to scrap the October break vacation we took a few weeks ago. I am so excited because I got ELEVEN pages done this weekend. Granted, one is a title page and one page needs journaling, but still. Eleven! That’s more than I’ve made in the last few months combined. Eleven is amazing! 😁

Gorgeous. I actually pulled the thread up because I saw the pic in Tapatalk and was like “ooh, that’s a pretty kit, I need to find out where they got it.” Lol. I’m obviously used to being enabled here. haha!! I like reading about the things people find, but I usually don't find them myself... or I just have crappier stores around me. I went to J's a few days ago and it is the saddest-feeling store I've been in in quite a while-- the clearance aisle looked like a DISASTER!! And I didn't see any good sales on paper, at all. (not that I NEED any, lol.) We've actually done quite a number of fun things in the last few weeks-- a couple day trips and today we went to a book signing. So I really should get a photo order ready to go. I get hung up on editing photos, zooming in and cropping for close-ups, etc. and I really shouldn't do that-- that's the part of the process that takes so long I lose enthusiasm. (Does anyone else do that? If you've been scrapping a while, do you remember back in the 'film' days, we couldn't do any of that editing- you got your envelope of photos in the mail, and you used what you had. I need to try to get back to that, even with my digital photos!) LOL, I remember film days. We were just glad if they turned out at all. I don't edit a lot. Sometimes I'll crop a pic with the Snapfish editing tool on the site, but that's about it.

I have no Halloween photos this year, sigh. My grandson decided not to go ToT this year. They are growing up too fast! One year that I didn't have any Halloween pics, I scrapped a selfie just so I could make a Halloween page Genius! I did take a photo of the bowl of candy to text my brother. He always jokes and calls us rich, because we give out full size bars.

I think I will do a layout about both of those things!

(Does anyone else do that? YES! I'm doing digital scrapping at them moment. Only a few traditional pages here and there. However, when I mainly work traditional, I always edit my photos before printing. I just talked about this on another thread about streamlining. It and picking the paper where the slowest part of scrapbooking for me. I used to print at home too. So I would only do a few stories at a time. Then I started batch processing and sending out for printing, which is still a pain but when you are only focusing on the photo part in larger chunks of time, it seemed to go quicker after a while. I still don't like that part.

Just got an order in from Scrapbook.com, and though I'm really happy with most of it, I'm *really* excited about the Vicki Boutin Wildflower and Honey papers. I only ordered four sheets, but they're so pretty I might order more!

I didn’t pick up anything from her Kaleidoscope collection but Wildflower & Honey is too pretty to pass up. Post your layouts when you’re done!

I've been working on my 2011 pics and I finished up my random pictures, things like how many gallons of milk were in our fridge. There were 8. Now I think I will scrap the birth story of my last child. She'll be two this month. Which means I am getting to her pretty quickly becuase I scrapped my 3rd child's birth story in Feb and he just turned 12.

Carpet is finally in! Today starts the slow moving of all my scrap storage and supplies back into the family room. I already have plans to claim a bit more territory for me, but DH doesn't know that yet. I hope to do some purging along the way. I only have a few days to work on it before I leave for WDW and then the Thanksgiving/Christmas madness begins. At least I will finally be able to find my craft supplies and access my holiday decorations, oh yeah and my washing machine.
Bummer is I had to back out of this morning's Mixed Media class at my library that I was looking forward to, but there are only so many hours in a day.

I use modular storage cubes so every now and then I add another vertically or move my table a little bit further. He doesn't seem to notice that his computer ares is getting smaller and smaller. That's what he gets for insisting we flip the room so now our work areas are located in the smaller side of the room next to the bathroom.

And if he doesn't notice, well, then, that's on him, isn't it? I have ideas for some of the layouts I want to work on next Saturday at my 12-hr crop, and all of them involve either recent events (this month & last month) or photos I haven't printed yet (from October 2018 ) so I am BOUND and DETERMINED to put together a photo order for either Costco or Walgreens, whichever is cheaper. I!! WILL!! DO!! THIS!! (even if it's only 40 or 50 photos total, lol!)

I went to put some Christmas Thickers I just purchased away in my Christmas Iris case and stumbled upon my half finished 1st attempt at DD from last year and was tickled at the memories! But with no journaling and a very bad memory lately, I'm really kicking myself for not finishing it last year. Oh well. I'm thinking of working on it today. And now I'm seriously thinking about doing this year when I was adamant I wasn't! 🙄
I sat and went thru some old Shimelle Glitter Girl that I havent even touched and it made me wanna work on some Disney pages. But I also need to place a photo order as well cause I have some awesome Halloween photos that I want to scrap while the urge is still fresh!!
I am just all over the place today as it's been a very long while since I've been in the mood to scrap!!

With a lot of craziness (life) lately, I took a much needed little break to create a layout for the Sketchy Saturday challenge here. It felt good to be creating something.

I've been out of state visiting my mum so no scrapping for me - I got back last night and spent today cleaning and doing laundry (and I'm not done yet).
BUT I did manage to scan several albums of my childhood photos AND my parent's wedding photos (I didn't know they HAD wedding photos) AND a small folder of photos of my older (half) sister when she was small including her christening photo (which included my dad - I had only 2 pictures of my dad before he married mum in 1969 - one in his army kilt from 1944 and a snapshot from his 40th birthday in 1965 - my sister was born in 1950 so it was neat to see dad looking so young). I also found photos of my parents when they were first married - my dad still had hair, lol (and it might still have been brown - but all the older pics are black and white - by the time they switch to colour he was grey and balding which is how I remember him)
