Any guesses as to whom it is? Supposedly it’s someone from inside Trumps camp.
I can’t decide if it’s a money grab at things we already know or what. And why isn’t Trump all up in arms about it, trying to block it?

No. I have no desire to line the pockets of someone who thought Trump's actions were so dangerous that they did nothing about it when they were in a position to do so, but now are seeking to profit from it.

I’m not buying anything from Anonymous. Why would anyone? The news outlets will be all over it and will disseminate that info if it’s found to be credible/important.
ETA: I just realized this is a book title and author and not the internet hackers Anonymous. 🤦♀️ To answer the question about the book-no, I won’t buy and read it. I am not going to waste precious reading time on a book about stupid donald trump and why he’s a terrible president and human. I can turn the news on and see that for myself literally every single night of the week.

ETA: from an article about it in USA Today: "The publisher says that the anonymous book author did not take an advance payment for the book, and plans to donate a substantial amount of royalties to "non-profit organizations that focus on government accountability and on supporting those who stand up for the truth in repressive countries around the world."^^^ so not all proceeds, but a substantial amount (whatever that is) |

I would be interested to know if there's anything "new" in the book, but I'm perfectly fine with finding that out from the media once they get their hands on it - just like we did with the books written by Manigault & Comey. No, I'd rather read the transcripts from the impeachment hearings - something that may actually stop him. A book that can't be verified when we already have more than enough speculation, Trump's own lies that we hear every day and testimony from people close to him that should end his presidency? No thanks.

Rachel Maddow read excerpts last night on her show. It is really brutal and scary. I hope it gets the attention that it should. Having said that I do believe what anonymous has written but I have problems with an anonymous author. I understand why they are remaining anonymous but it is not as easy to document the book as truthful when the author is anonymous. Either way I am happy it is being published. Maybe it will wake up some of the fools in this country...or not.

If it’s Kelly Anne, she had a ghost writer. The excerpts I’ve seen are written in a language Kelly Anne doesn’t speak, the sentences actually make sense. I hope it is Kelly Anne, that will make Trump’s blood boil.
i won’t buy the book, but would read it from the library. I’m sure the most interesting parts will be discussed in the media.

That is how I feel too - it would have more credibility if we knew who it was - I understand why they want to be anonymous but I would probably be more likely to read it it if I knew the source was credible. |

They are still profiting and are too wimpy to use their own name. Gotta protect those future cushy high paying think tank and lobbying jobs. If you think our democracy is at risk, DO SOMETHING PROMPTLY THROUGH THE APPROPRIATE CHANNELS. Don't wait months and write an op/ed and a book. The Ukraine whistleblower(s) have shown it's possible and will spur action. I have nothing but disdain for this person. (I think there's a difference in remaining anonymous like the Ukraine whistleblower, who seems to be a career government employee, not a political appointee by Trump who knew what they were signing on for and voluntarily worked for this idiot, which is what the anonymous author seems to be.) |

Not if they’re conversations where more than 1 person was present/listening in. Also I would not be surprised if this person changed key info about those convos. Things like gender of others present or whoever was being spoken about. Or subtle changes to the actual topic. Like if they were discussing the color purple, maybe instead of saying the shade of plumb, it’s changed to lavender. Both still purple, but not quite the same. |
