A teacher friend of mine shared this on Facebook. I found it pretty accurate. The Hobbledehoy“ He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of shit.”

That is deadly accurate I would say. Got it in one so to speak. "He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege. "

Thanks for sharing that. Nothing I like better than something that cracks me up first thing in the morning. Boy, did he get it right!
Just before I read this, one of the political pundits on tv called fox news, as they were badmouthing Ambassador Yovanovitch, turd polishers. A perfect name for Foxers. All in all I've been laughing since I grabbed my first cup of coffee.

Great article! Just wish it wasn't about our president because we are better than he represents. If I had read this article 5 years ago and someone said it was about a future president I never would have believed them. I still cannot believe the things he says and the horrible example he is to world on how to be a civil person. I just don't see how anyone can get past the fact that he is such a bully and horrible person to vote for him. In my opinion his behavior overrides any good legislation he might enact. If I hadn't lived through this I never would have believed it. It has been so much worse than I ever could have imagined. 😥

I 100% agree with the writer but I also think those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
As a Brit I wholeheartedly agree Trump is terrible but is Boris Johnson really much different? He calls women wearing Burkas "letter boxes", has been accused of sexual harassment and imo is not a politician to be trusted.
Maybe he's not Trump yet but I am terrified for the future of our country with him as the man in charge (which he surely will be for 5 years after the upcoming election)
I am so worried about our future and demonizing trump while ignoring our own problems at home will lead only to disaster.

I haven’t clicked yet, but I’m pretty sure that piece dates back to before Boris Johnson won office. I remember reading it months ago. And I don’t think BJ is as bad as Trump. Maybe, given more time. But he just seems smarter and more rational, underneath all the foolishness.

I don't think we're ignoring our problems - we definitely have a fair few at the moment for sure! But I do think he's different. He has faults, certainly (who doesn't??), but he's just not in the same league thankfully. I'm not brushing his faults aside but he's intelligent, educated, has a political career behind him and I don't consider he's in it purely for his own gain unlike Trump.

I can't imagine him ever saying that it was OK to grab women by the p**** either or degrading and insulting women each and every day of his life. There's been one unverified accusation from a journalist that he put his hand on her knee at a dinner they both attended in 1999. I'm sure given his time as an MP and later as Mayor of London and then Foreign Secretary that there would have been far more accusations than just one, come to light. He's had plenty of women working for him over the years. I'm sure someone else would have joined in the accusation by now but many of them have defended him and described him as a feminist. You might very well not agree with his politics claudia123 but quite another to be so worried about our future that you're putting him in the same category of character as Trump.

Yes, you're right, I shouldn't have compared Johnson to trump as he's not in the same league of ignorance. I just think he's done some questionable things and we could be sleepwalking into a trump like scenario in the future which makes me hesitant to laugh at the article. Maybe I was little dramatic!

He has me wanting to picnic at the Nixon library lately. My grandmother and aunt admired Nixon for getting up early everyday before school to work to support his family because they could relate to it. At least you can find some human characteristics in him.

Man, the Brits have a way with words. They sure do! They come up with the best insults - it's an art form. I thought it was interesting that the article almost made out that 100% of Brits dislike trump. That's really not accurate. There are plenty of supporters of groups such as Britain First and English Defence League etc who would absolutely love trump. Same in Australia. Heck, even one of my own family members posted something on FB about wishing we had someone like trump as PM. GTFO. And the opening line: Someone on Quora asked “Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?” Um, the same reason that a couple of hundred million Americans don't like him.

You're quite right of course, there are factions that would love to see someone of his ilk in power sadly. Thankfully that's not on the horizon currently! And yes...not hard to come up with reasons to loathe him!
