Cheese, cured meats, crackers. My dad brings it every year and it is good! He orders it from a grocery store near him. I add in some veggies and call it a day.

We do appetizers as we eat around 2:00 give or take so it's a late lunch/early dinner. People are ready to eat! Typical choices are veggie tray, shrimp cocktail, cheese and crackers and deviled eggs. It just depends. This year it's veggie tray and brie and cranberry bites. I'm not sure what else. My sister is bringing her new boyfriend and he has a seafood allergy so we won't be doing the shrimp. I may make some of those ham and cream cheese rolls. We also have potato chips for my very picky nephew.

This year it will be fresh cranberry salsa with chips, and crack drip with a variety of crackers and veggies. Both are recipes i got from pinterest. I also have nuts and a relish tray. Our family is small so we dont make many apps, but i do love to try making new things each year!

No appetizers, just the veggie tray and relish trays that my SILs bring. We eat early, like 12:30 so no need for anything more.
Although, the cheese ball and crackers sound good - might have to make one this year to go with them.
