Thanks all. I still have it on my old laptop so I'll just pray the laptop hangs on😊😊. Glad to hear that Google photos is fairly good too - I'll check into it.

Thanks for the replies - looks like we all miss picasa! Does anyone use Google photos? Isn't that what they're trying to push us to?

So what are you all using? I finally got a new laptop and would like another free photo organizing program. Hopefully one that has some simple editing? Thanks!

Please believe that it's not only 'trumpsters' - my bil had covid in July and narrowly avoided hospitalization. We just lost our fil last week. Bil did not wear a mask to the graveside service. Neither did our nephew - both are strong democrats.

Our governor has done absolutely nothing useful regarding Covid - and he has had it. Two of the large cities have mask mandates but he will NOT mandate it statewide. He just keeps painting a rosy picture and thanking everyone for doing such a great job. Our numbers have been doubling and this weekend they quadrupled.

Our financial planner thought he could do better with a mutual fund than the 529 for our grandkids. Of course, the tax break is nice. I did not finish college and one of my daughters is just now finishing at 36!

I am in agreement with you. We are going out some - but only to places that require masks. I, too, am tired of hearing - if you're scared, stay home! I've said more than once - If you can't wear a mask, YOU stay home!

I haven't had problems with shipping but I'm aggravated that they charge for so many of the Prime shows and movies!

I know this is weird but my ENT told me to put sesame oil on a cotton ball and leave it in my nose for like 8 hours - I couldn't do that but would leave it for an hour or so at a time. I had been battling this dry nose place for months - even bleeding at times. Sesame oil cleared it right up but I smelled like Chinese take out!

I tried Shameless - does it get any better? I didn't get through the first episode!

Yep - this happened to us 4th of July. We are super careful and mask everywhere - made a one time mistake and went to sister-in-law's annual barbecue on that Saturday. Tuesday we got the call that brother-in-law had tested positive. Our only saving grace was that he thought he had a kidney stone and sat in his recliner the whole time. Didn't even get up to get his own food. What he thought was a kidney stone turned out to be body aches from Covid! Two nephews and a niece also contracted it but are young and recovered easily. Brother-in-law lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks and is on breathing treatments.

My BIL - body aches (thought he had a kidney stone), vomiting and nausea, coughing. Never had fever.

And the restaurant he ate at the DAY BEFORE IT WAS ANNOUNCED! has had to close. The media showed pictures of him with two employees of the restaurant. How irresponsible can you be?

Seems to be the 'rumor of the day'. I've been reading several accounts that the numbers are not accurate because people are doing this. I don't think I believe it but if someone has accurate information I would listen.

Yes, I have Christmas in the City and my DD has the Dickens Village. We moved 5 years ago and I haven't put it up since. I used to put it up on top of my kitchen cabinets at my previous house.

Our governor now has Covid and refuses to issue a mask order! I just don't know what's wrong with people - he posed for a picture at a restaurant he was eating at on the day he began feeling ill.

Not me but my DD - just happened to ask her this weekend and she is sooooo glad she had it done. Sorry I can't give any details but she is thoroughly pleased.

Agreed. I'd like to restock my antibacterial soap but 6/$26 is not that great a price. I bought it last time at the same price during the beginning of the pandemic.

I'm so sorry - DD is also in the oil & gas business and started at a new company in January. So far she's hung on. DSIL is in food services for a major league baseball team so we've been on pins and needles through this whole thing! Best wishes for both of you!

DH has had two hernia surgeries - probably 15-20 years ago - with mesh. No problems whatsoever. In fact, with one he flew out to California to work within two days. Hope yours goes well!

While we are and have been very low in infections, our rates are now as high or higher than the beginning. And people still refuse to wear masks! In our church on Sunday there were 5 people wearing masks! The casinos have opened here and I told DH we would be safer at a casino than at church - at least they require masks!

Thanks! Like you I've tried everything. I have 'some' luck if I put my glasses on the outside of the mask. I had tried the kleenex trick but I was putting it between my nose and the mask. I'll try this way.

We are curious too - I had pneumonia in January - sickest I've ever been. However - no one else came down with it? Could it be covid - it's supposed to be sooo contagious?
