I keep seeing pictures and I feel so bad for anyone dealing with this. I live in California and we’ve been dealing with this for a few years and hate to see this happening to those in Canada and the east coast.

We live in California and had masks due to the wildfires and horrible air quality. By the time Covid started we still had masks. And we still have some.

I’ve been strength training for about 4 years and it’s been so helpful to increase my bone density, and become stronger overall. It’s hard work but I really like it and what it’s doing for me.
It’s slow strength training and I do that twice a week and I walk a lot as well.

I’m in Marin County and it’s been unbelievable today. The wind has calmed down a little thankfully but it’s still blowing and raining here.

It has been unbelievably windy here. We can see the Richmond San Rafael bridge and it looks like traffic is moving again so that’s good. We literally went nowhere, between the wind and the pouring rain at times it was good to be home.

I seriously wonder if he’s on the autism spectrum. Probably not but he reminds me of some people I know that are on the spectrum.
Who knows?

I’m in Marin County and it’s been pretty crazy all day. The wind is blowing hard and it’s raining hard too. We’re waiting to see how everything fares after this.

I wish you all the best. My son is an alcoholic and it’s been a nightmare as he’s not ready to get help. It cost him his marriage (we remain very close with his ex wife and children)
He hasn’t seen his sons in 4 years and that is heartbreaking. We are very close to them and see them as often as we can.
We keep praying for him to seek help but also decided to live our lives while he’s spinning out of control. We live on opposite sides of the country and now because of Covid and other issues we haven’t seen him in 3 years.
Stand your ground. Again I wish you all the best.

Momo Cocoa! I know the person who makes it and we’ve enjoyed it. It’s vegan. She sells it in the Portland area but also ships from her website.

Our daughter left college after her junior year due to depression and anxiety. She had a wonderful counselor and doctor but needed more. She went to a month long place for treatment called Honeylake Counseling Center in northern Florida.
It helped her tremendously. She’s doing very well and navigating life so well! It gave her some great coping skills and she’s come so far.

We live just north of San Francisco and it was 104 degrees here today 🥵
A few miles north of us was 111. And tomorrow is going to be quite hot too.

St. John USVI is my suggestion. I've been 3 times and love it so much I want to move there! It has incredible snorkeling and the best part is you can do it right off the beach at any of the 39 beaches. So-you save money by not having to take a boat to the snorkeling, and you can stay as long as you want in the water vs. snorkeling by boat which has time limits. The best part? 2/3 of the island is National Park. You won't find beaches with condos on them in St. John or a ton of development either. Just wild and wonderful beaches that look like they are right out of a travel brochure. Beautiful turquoise water, tons of fish to see while snorkeling including sea turtles, squid and if you are lucky an octopus. Lots of restaurants to choose from in either Cruz Bay (the main town) or Coral Bay the sleepy area on the opposite side of the island. Which ever island you decide to visit keep an eye on hurricane season which is more common in late summer and September. We always go the first two weeks of December (considered low season) but out of hurricane season. St. John is spectacular. We were there many years ago and would go back in a heartbeat. For all of the reasons mentioned above

I live in a big small town in Northern California. There’s many things to see and do nearby, but if you were going to do one thing in my town, I’d insist you to our drive thru dairy! It was founded in the early 1900s and had all your staples-it was actually a great place to find some hard to find items during Covid. But it’s best known for its soft serve ice cream. A couple years back, the owners let some of their workers take over their social media accounts (teens love working here) and it has become explosively popular. The car lines wrap around the block. Such a small business but beloved by all that live here and apparently many surrounding areas as well. We LOVE this place! My brother lives within walking distance so we often go. Best place ever!

It’s bittersweet for me too. My husband and 2 of my 3 children are so kind and thoughtful.
The other one is an alcoholic and has pulled away from family to the point where he only communicates with us is when he wants something. We have some pretty strong boundaries and he’s not a fan of those but that’s too bad.

We’re building a house that has 2 bedrooms and the laundry room in the main level. While we can handle stairs now, easily, we’re thinking of the future.
The downstairs basement will be finished with a bedroom, full bathroom and family room. There will also be some storage in the basement.
Edited to add that we’re having showers in the two main bathrooms and a tub in the guest bathroom downstairs.

I just tested positive and it is extremely mild. I’m vaccinated and got the booster shot too.
I feel as though I have a very mild cold. No fevers, no cough, just a slight cold. Before I realized it might be Covid I went on a 4+ mile hike with friends and it didn’t slow me down.
I’m very very thankful.
