Is this it? www.theconqueror.eventsMy friend runs a 10k virtual race while listening to a zombie story. She says it's great fun, they hold a virtual event at a specific time and she got a medal and tshirt. It's similar. The one I'm thinking of had pins and other swag.

I saw this ad numerous times on Facebook - it's a bunch of virtual bike marathons and you received a tshirt and some pins or something if you hit certain levels of the race.
One of the marathons was sasquatch related, another was Ireland or Scotland....
Help please!!!

As the grown child who decided to remove a parent from their life, please do not just show up. Whatever his reasons are for withdrawing from you and the rest of the family, blindsiding him is not a good idea.
Send him a letter, write all your thoughts and feelings in black and white, and mail it to him. If he doesn't respond, then you need to let him go.

go to snopes and type in Trump in the search box Why the heck didn't I think of that??? Thanks! I don't know what is going through DH's head. I still haven't told him I switched to the Democrat party three months ago because I don't want to listen to "I can't stand Trump either, he's a horrible person, but....." comments.

The Tessalon pearls don't work for me at all. I wish they did. Typically the cough syrup with codeine works like a charm at night, and the pearls don't do a thing for me. This time the pearls are helping so much more than the cough syrup. I swear, it's like I am not even taking the cough syrup. I'm still feeling crappy, thankfully not as bad as I was over the weekend though. I need an ambulance though guys. Probably an appt with a funeral director. My husband, the poor man, has a scratchy throat and a 99.5 fever. I don't know how I'm going to go on without him.... 😏 RIP, Mr. Tyra. 😂 Maybe your next husband will have a stronger constitution. Lol

Dh says none of the rumors people spread about Trump have been proven (since he became President). I say DH is wrong.
I really, really don't want to look it up. I'm afraid my head may explode from all the bull crap I'd have to wade through.
Surely, there's a handy dandy website??? And one of the all-knowing Peas has it bookmarked???!? Please!?!

On the rare occasions that I have the house all to myself overnight, I watch movies back to back that make me cry. It like a huge cathartic release of emotion and I am in a better mood for week afterward.
Having said that, Dying Young was the first real tear jerker for me.

I really hope it's a good day, I'll be in downtown DC with my son. My very superstitious mom keeps telling me to have my van fully stocked with supplies in case something bad happens while we are there. I just let her ramble.

You can also search IG with location and style specific hashtags like #sandiegoartist and the hits will usually link you to an Etsy shop. I just found a couple things to add to my Christmas list. I just spent far too much time figuring out that it's San Diego not Sandie Go. Google wasn't helping.

I have a black and white image I'm trying to make into a sticker. I want the sticker to follow the outline of the shape, not a rectangle. I saved it as a png, and ran it through an online program (I don't have photoshop) to remove the background. The outline looks great, but now the white spaces within the design have been removed. What do I do now? ? Help and thanks!!!

I was figuring on parking at one of the Colonial parking garages - probably the one at 4th and C. I think that's the closest parking lot. Although, if my mom wants, we may end up taking one of the hop on-off bus tours in which case, I'd just park at Union Station.

We are heading to the Museum of the American Indian, we only need to stay one (maybe two) nights. My mom has trouble walking, so we need a hotel that has an elevator. Oh, and 16 year old say the hotel has to have continental breakfast. smh. If it were me and the kid, I'd stay at a cute B&B I found, but it's a no-go with my mom.
I'm looking at spending no more than $150 per night, somewhere along 70/270.
Thanks for your suggestions!!

What about Homeschool Hub? It's short, to the point, catchy and it indicates that it's a central location where resources are available. I'm always a fan of shorter names that paint a clear picture of what the organization does. Hope this helps! I like this one. I'll have to think about it. Thanks!!!!!

==found the photos, here is a link (that I hope works for you)
Sure would like the backstory on the 2 toilets/commodes side by side. The family that poops together, stays together?

An unreasonable expectation for them to have. The county fair should have provided people to walk other people to their cars, not county-paid officers who are at the fair to protect the people that are AT the fair. What would the uproar be, if the officer was busy walking people to their cars, if something happened at the fair? People would be complaining that the officer wasn't doing the job that they were paid to do. I wouldn't expect a county fair to provide escorts.

I'm finalizing all the paperwork to start an inclusive homeschool resource center. Essentially, it will be a place for homeschoolers and their parents to gather - to hold classes and events, to provide support for new homeschool parents, and to share ideas. There will also be a curriculum lending library. Ultimately, the various co-ops will be able to reserve space to use.
Just as a backstory, I've been homeschooling for 8 years now. I ran our local homeschool group, until I stepped down in May. I've had lots of experience in organizing activities/events, I've taught classes, and I'm the go-to person in this part of the state for homeschool related inquiries. We've been using a couple of rooms in our local Boys and Girls Club, but there's something odd going on with their floor of the building they are in and rumors of inappropriate actions involving a supervisor and a young girl. I'm not sure if we will be able to use the space anymore. I've found a new place, but it's $650 a month. I can get donations/grants/etc. if I have an official business.
Anyway, back to the resource center. I need a name and I'm drawing blanks. Some suggestions have been "WV Homeschool Resource Center" (boring), "More Than The Kitchen Table" (and variations thereof, but sounds like a design firm), "The Homeschool Socialization Organization" (kind of funny, but then again, not), and "Everywhere Learning Homeschool Resource Center" (I kind of like this one, but not completely sold on it).
How do you decide on a name that isn't lame or too generic, too wordy or too cheesy?

I recently read where the miners are blocking the train tracks to keep coal from leaving until they get paid. Yep, they are. They also are asking for Trump to step in and help them. I keep thinking "Guys. He needed the unions to get him elected, he doesn't care about the individuals."

Unfortunately, chronic illness often is accompanied by other issues. It's common to have more than one disease. It's grossly unfair and really cruel, but that's the nature of disease. When you have one autoimmune disease it predisposes you to others, as well. I'm really sorry that you have to join this crappy club. Are you familiar w/ The Spoon TheoryI strongly recommend that you read The Spoon Theory and also peruse the website. You'll find that you're very much not alone and that support is everywhere. I hadn't heard of it. Thanks!

I've had MS since 2012. It has been pretty low key overall, but the disease is progressing slowly.
I started having non-related symptoms a few months ago and since then, this is what I've been diagnosed with:
Degenerative Disc Disease Perimenopause Hypothyroidism
Shouldn't there be a law of nature, a moratorium of sorts, that says one major health problem at a time?!?
A big 'ol "thanks for the support" to everyone. Figured this would be easier than replying to each of you.
As my neurologist says "at least it's just _______". When I was first diagnosed with MS, they thought I had leukemia. After 5 failed and 1 successful try at a spinal tap, he came in my hospital room and said "it's just MS".
I try to remember that, no matter what comes up, it could be worse and I can live with this. So far.

Have you Ben checked for Lyme disease? Back in 2012, when we weren't 100% sure it was MS. I'm hypervigilant about tick bites if we are out and haven't seen any signs of bites.

It honestly sounds like stuff from your MS. Have you seen your Dr recently? You may need a medication adjustment. PT for the other things. My next neuro appt is in September. I messaged my gp for an appointment.

Background: I have MS, I'm fat, and not even remotely energetic. I'm trying to change the last two but my health right now is making it extremely difficult. I had a bad concussion a couple of years ago, and have issues with vertigo. I take Gabapentin and Effexor.
Symptoms: Joint ache Tired all the time My left arm moves uncontrollably if I yawn Back pain across spine, just below my bra My body "seizes up" when I first move, especially if I've been in one position for a while. Like all my muscles just clench. There's no lingering muscle pain.
The spasticity has gotten worse over the last couple of weeks. It's been around for a while, but it used to just be if I sat for too long. Now it's happening every time I move.
Any ideas?
