I have a set of fraternal girl-girl twins.
My dad's brothers are twins, and on my mother's side, a set of twins has been born every other generation of my maternal line going back at least 150 years.

I have had luck with American Tall. It's a Canadian company and leans towards basics, but I have been pleased with both quality and length.

I absolutely despise my name. My mother wanted to name me Christina, but my dad didn't like it. So she decided to take her middle name and my aunt's middle name, smash them together and add as many letters as possible. No one can spell it and until people started giving their kids outlandish names, couldn't pronounce it either. It didn't help a painfully shy, introverted kid fit in any better.
I am an avid reader, especially classics, so I would have loved being an Elizabeth, Victoria or Catherine.

Absolutely yes! My daughter is in the Army and can't talk or return messages or texts whenever I would like. I am not going to miss the rare times I get to talk to her because I left my phone somewhere.

With my daughter's phone, we were able to uninstall Chrome, and that fixed hers.
My S10 is fine, but my husband's doesn't work and the fix didn't work for his either.
We also have Verizon.

At the place I work we get three weeks of vacation and unlimited sick days. They do not roll over.
With my position, I have to use all my vacation before 4th quarter since about 40% of our business happens in those three months.

She is very concerned about the progression and then things like pregnancy and how that will affect it. Can I ask how her recovery was? We are talking about dd coming home for a month or two after surgery to recover. Is your dd glad she had the surgery? I specifically asked about pregnancy in the future. We were told that physically she should have no trouble, but any kind of spinal anesthesia could be tricky unless she had an anesthesiologist that was familiar with fusions. My DD's recovery was quite easy, but I attribute that to the physical shape she was in at the time. She was supposed to be in the hospital for 5 days, but went home after three. She only took pain killers for about 10 days and then switched to ibuprofen. Three weeks after the surgery, she started high school on time with no accommodations. She was scared about having the surgery, but she was young. We were told that because of the degree of the curve that she required the surgery because there was no guarantee that the curve wouldn't continue to progress, which could be fatal if her rib cage twisted enough to restrict her breathing. We are glad she had the surgery and she lives a full and complete life. Me being protective, I insist that she still follows weight lifting restrictions, but nothing slows her down. She is a normal, active 20yo.

My daughter had a spinal fusion for scoliosis in 2015. She was first diagnosed at 45 degrees. By the time she had the surgery four months later she had progressed to 54 degrees.
The threshold for surgery at that time was 45 degrees. My DD did well because she was only 15 and was a competitive dancer with strong core muscles. That said, she is not completely straight. They were only able to correct her to about 35 degrees and her pelvis is still twisted to the side. 5 years post surgery, she has maintained a status quo.
Definitely get a second opinion from a more experienced orthopedic surgeon, one who specializes in scoliosis. But be prepared for surgery.

I only had two records: Rick Dees Disco Duck and Disney's Peter Pan movie. I had Peter Pan completely memorized.
My first cassette was Michael Jackson's Thriller
My first CD was Bryan Adams Waking up the Neighbors

I work for a medium sized marketing company. In March, all people who can work from home, have. I am one of five who have to work in the office.
Our owner/CEO has not taken a salary since then. The senior leadership took a 33% paycut and all other salaried employees took a 22% paycut. Hourly employees (me) were kept at the same rate, but no overtime allowed. As of last week, all pay has gone back to normal and we are business as usual except for those who still prefer to work at home.
As another who always seems to get the fuzzy end of the lollypop, it hasn't been too bad.

Ours was supposed to be June 7th, but yesterday Minnesota's governor shut down any possibility of graduation saying it has to be done virtually. Absolutely no chance of having it at a later time or an alternative. Just a big fat NO.
I am furious! My twins have worked so hard, and now everything has been taken away from them. They were so excited to find out that they were going to be able to bookend their school career by having their last class together just like they did their first.

I am thankful for the company I work for. Today we had a meeting letting us know that instead of layoffs, the owner/CEO is forgoing his salary for 90 days, and the rest of the salaried employees are taking a 22.5-33.5% pay cut. Hourly employees (me) still get paid their full pay. Yesterday I was salty that everyone else got to work from home while I still had to go in, but today, I am humbled and grateful.

Once, when I was waiting for my daughter at the orthodontist, a man was having a conversation on his phone that was clearly sensitive. He loudly announced his full name, birthdate, address and social security number for all of us in the waiting room to hear. And people wonder how identity thieves get their info.

We have one. Due to circumstances out of our control, we had to move our family of six from our 2000sqf house into a 1100sqf temporary rental. I wasn't about to sell furniture that is still needed but have no room for until we buy another house, so $60 a month to store it is worth it to me.

Everest.
Even though I was in my 20's when the events happened, I didn't know anything about it until my husband wanted to go see the movie. I was so affected by it that it took several days for me to process and deal with my feelings over the decisions that each person had made and the consequences of them.

I have 4 weeks to find a place for my family of six to live that is semi-convenient to my kid's school in an extremely difficult housing market that won't break the bank, and I have to sit at work listening to my boss complain that there isn't a hairdryer in her luxury hotel suite in Sweden and how it's going to ruin her vacation.

I wasn't too upset that Team Fun went home. I felt bad for Floyd, but was disappointed in Becca when she was so upset that the egg was cracked that she said she wanted to smash it in the guy's face. It wasn't his fault. She admitted that she had a feeling to check them before she left and didn't.

I have had my common, but weirdly spelled, name mispronounced by so many teachers, it's not even funny. Even when I have corrected spelling and/or pronunciation, most teachers would continue to do it the way they wanted. My high school English teacher even asked if I was sure I wasn't pulling his leg.
My daughter's name is Alexandra and she prefers her full name. Quite a few teachers have insisted on calling her Alex, despite many corrections.

For me, it totally depends on the relationship.
My parents finally divorced when I was 18. My dad had a couple relationships where I wasn't close to, or didn't like his girlfriend. I would have been upset if either of them had called me their daughter. They certainly weren't my mom. When I was 26, my dad met the woman he ended up marrying. They are perfect for each other. So much better than my parents being together. I absolutely love my stepmom. She is a much better mother to me than my own selfish, narcissistic mother is or ever could be. My stepmom calls me her daughter and my kids her grandkids because we are. We call her by her childhood nickname or just her first name.
