I have been doing this recently as well. I heard someone (I think Stacy Julian) say that the stories we tell/retell around the dinner table, or at family get togethers, holidays etc are the ones that truly belong in the scrapbooks. They are often overlooked because we often dont have a photo that prompts us to tell the story.
I have two places I am keeping them for now, one is on an index card if I happen to have pen/paper handy and the other is in a note on my phone, if that happens to be easist at the moment. I have successfully scrapbooked 3 of these stories I have been collecting so hopefully I am on track to do more of that in the future.

I use persickity as well. I include a message with the order ( there is place for that) and I use apps that they say that they are compatable with ( Project life and Diptic are two that I am aware of.
Good luck!

I print once per month with Persnikcity Prints.
I look through all my photos from the previous month, plan/sketch layouts and then place an order.
If I miss a photo, decided I wish I had a different size or some other mishap, I place a post it on the layout, and order it the next month.

If you dont need locals and dont need sports, Philo is a good service.
A lot of people rotate some of the other services. I am not the greatest at that although it would be a good money saver.
Look into all the free stuff available. You will have more to watch than you will have time for lol.

I recently became interested in this after watching a YT video by our very own lasteve1 .She was not so much junk journaling exactly, but she was using magazines to create some vision boards in one of her planners. I don't think I actually want to start a whole new hobby of junk journaling, but I do want to dabble in some collaging and using supplies I have. Except I did promptly re subscribe to 3 magazines so I would have something to cut up and use in addition to my SB supplies.

I agree with everything everyone said. All the pros and cons. I did not think I would ever buy another punch or die after buying my cricut but that turned out not to be true lol. Just last month bought a compass shaped punch from CM. I love the compass shape! www.creativememories.com/compass-punch.html

linda I like your ferry layout on pg 4. I love the bottom photo and the journaling spot. I also like the big kid albums on pg 5, especially the grey hexagon page and the map page joblackford I love the for the record card- very very cute! @breetheflea I love the gazpacho layout. My mom used to make it a lot and it gave me a fond memory. And a reminder to get my recipe album moving along

Ohhh...I love the idea of making photo corners. This will be great for layouts where I am trying to combine square cornered cards and those with rounded corners--just cover up the round corners. This is genius. I don't like the rounded corners but these could make those cards work. I feel like I have a lot of them too. I hate the rounded corners also, but they can be trimmed or fussy cut and layered on top of other cards also. Elle studio and Traci Reed are great sources of inspo for doing that.

I got started today! I posted a photo on my instgram. I went with what I like doing and what was easy since I didn't have a lot of time. I don't have a lot of current stamps. Except for some alphas, most of my stamps are over 20 years old (yes, they are rubber). So I have stencils and paste. I mixed up a pink as close as I could get to the pink color of the Feb. STBM kit and stenciled onto white and then black with a cross hatch stencil. Then I did one layer of my rainbow stencil with it too. I mixed up some ochre the color of the kit and I'll use a pouncer thing to make the second layer of the rainbow. I don't know yet what I'll do with them -- probably make some tags or punch with a circle punch. I'll use more of your ideas later but I like the "use what you have" suggestion. I also think I'm going to go through my stamps. They are all in a binder. I purged most of them a few years ago but I still have some. I think that would be a good next step. I often look at kits for inspiration. Thanks for asking the question!
