Today's question- do we ever get the foods that the residents eat- sandwiches, chocolate dipped donuts, soup, the cans of soda from the drinks machine? That would be fun if we could buy things from the vending machines! Nintendo needs us to consult for them. 😂 Right! I want a cup of soup and a donut! |

redbusc Can you put me down for the birdcage diy please. I’m assuming it’s a diy. I’m on an island beside a bird in a cage and it is hopping around and tweeting. It is adorable! How did I not notice a birdcage in this game before. I adore birds so much!! Omg just got the birdcage from diy on my beach!!!! Woot You cam customize it, too! |

Lol crazy how this game works sometimes. I literally gasped when I opened the beach diy. I haven’t had a new to me diy from the beach in so long 😮 😂 😆 Wonderful how that worked out for you! I still believe in sending what you want and hopefully the diy appearing soon. This was before the fact though I believe. |

Does anyone have the "peacoat-and-skirt combo" in another color besides red? I'm thinking that I bought the red one for Christmas, but for some reason didn't get any other colors. If you have it in another NICE color -- i.e., not that sickly yellowish/greenish/beige-ish color, lol -- like blue, green, purple, pink... Could I beg one from you? I like the way this outfit looks with the layered socks/tights, and low boots. In real life this morning I pulled on the same sweat pants and sweat shirt that I was wearing yesterday. But in Animal Crossing I've spent 20 minutes trying on various items and matching tights to dress, etc. hahaha  |

Arcadia is open. Gonzo the koala is visiting the campsite. Redd is here with fake Night Watch, Thinking Painting (the Milkmaid by Vermeer), and Mona Lisa. I bought the Thinking Statue. He also has a street organ in Dark Brown and let bed p If you want a fake or an elderly-lookong koala villager, come visit Arcadia! Nook's: buy anything and turnips are like 75 so don't bother. AS didn't have anything that stood out to me except the short pea coat. No watering needed. There are a few freebies on the path by the airport. Mostly random rugs and flower seeds. I'm afk for now. |

Love is in the air! Coming up on Valentine's Day and I have made a little romantic picnic spot near the waterfalls. And if you SO gets to be too much, you can go to your secluded hammock reading area on the second level on the other side of the waterfalls. I have those little spots and peninsulas that are just empty wasted space. Trying to figure those out. My turnips are 75? Something close to that. So don't all of you run over at one time. monklady123 someone will get better prices. workingclassdog I saw your notice last night but I didn't have time to run over. Frankly I was dying and ready to go to bed. I started rowing last night. While it was fun, I was ready for sleep. I have Flick today. It is my understanding no one else can sell to him on my island. Is that correct? I'll keep an eye on turnip prices this afternoon. Come over and shop and look around. Shake the trees or pick flowers. Oh and if you would I am trying an experiment to get green mums. In front of my museum, is a square of white and purple mums, could you please water those? I'll put out a watering can for ya. mrs darcy is paying off her expansion and doing some home stuff. Give me a few minutes and I'll open up. Oh new players, when I first got started it was suggested that I use this guide to know what, where, how, etc on the game. It really is a good bit of information. The Update is scheduled for TONIGHT at 8PM EST!!!
Usually 15-30 minutes before, you'll see a warning at the top of your screen, you can ignore this unless you are traveling using the internet ie: visiting Peas or have Peas on your island. I cannot recall an update night when we were able to travel easily during the update / a short time after.
At 8PM EST, you can close your game by hitting the home (looks like a house) button and then clicking Y on the AC game to close the software. Confirm by clicking A. Click B to close out the user screen (if applicable). While your AC game is highlighted (should be automatic, unless you fiddled with your joysticks) click the + button on your right joystick. This will pull up a screen regarding your software. Scroll down to "Software Update" option and move your highlight to the right where it says "Via the Internet". Click A to confirm.
If you (or someone else on your Switch) goes and plays another game to kill time, it will stop your download. It is usually fairly quick.
Hope that helps since I know sometimes we get in a mad posting frenzy during updates. ^.^

I got two more red hybrid roses this morning! Thank you all who watered for me. I'm on the homestretch for blue roses.
I have Leif today. He is still shilling the same ole bushes and plants.
I need to clean up my island and start changing things around. I'm seriously thinking about getting a new resident. I want the extra house to decorate but I have no idea where to put it. The kids won't let me decorate their houses. DS is quite upset with me with how I decorated his upstairs and watches me intently when I play. He doesn't trust me.
Instead of cleaning, I might go on NMT trips to try to find the gold rock island.
