She's been fired by Kelly Services: "A substitute teacher from Utah was fired after she allegedly told a classroom full of fifth-graders that "homosexuality is wrong" during a Thanksgiving exercise about gratitude." "Kelly Services, which provides substitute teachers for the Alpine School District, confirmed in a statement to ABC News on Sunday that the teacher had been fired. We are concerned about any reports of inappropriate conduct and take these matters very seriously," a spokesperson for the agency said. She should be fired after formally apologizing to the student. I wouldn't want that bitch in the presence of my child ever again.
They need to step up their pay and get qualified, educated, and compassionate people in the classrooms. Last in the nation in spending per student, a budget surplus, and they struck down three propositions that passed that could have helped the less fortunate. Christian values right there.
I say that because I expect a lawsuit if she's fired. It's a right to fire state and extremely low pay. I don't see it happening. |

As a Christian, this makes me absolutely FURIOUS. How dare she!!! I don’t care what you believe privately, when a kid makes a statement like that, you rejoice with him. Period.
