It’s probably my least favorite shade of blue.

Boring. But mixes well with more interesting colors. Boring was the first word that popped into my head too! But you're right, it would look awesome with orange or turquoise or magenta or jade or..... lime or coral or raspberry or seafoam or

It's our school color!
I have plenty in this color, especially with the school name on it. LOL!

I think that shade of blue is flattering on just about all skin tones, so I think it will be a good choice for clothing. That shade of blue was all the rage when I got married in 1989. My kitchen aid mixer (which is still running strong) is cobalt blue. The pattern of my everyday dishes (and just about every other bride who married in 1989) was Lenox's Poppies on Blue Noooo, not good for clothing for anyone with warm, soft or muted coloring. Lovely on people with cool skin tones. But I’d certainly use it in decorating or in clothing not next to my face. Funny how the color of choice for decorating and housewares had moved firmly to sage green by 1996. 😂

Once again I'm ahead of the curve on my color choices! That shade of blue was the basis of our color scheme when remodeling 7 years ago! We continued it through with our master bath remodel 2 years ago. Blue has always been my favorite color and I find it easy to live with.

I'm actually kind of excited about this, as it is all over the wedding pages.
And I have two buckets full of sugar flowers left from creating my competition cake for the Oklahoma show (that is in my avatar).
So I plan to make a new display cake using the blue and all my flowers - yay!

I dropped my daughter off at her friend’s house earlier today, and the family’s kitchen was big and open and had that blue on the cabinets under the island. It was gorgeous.

I’ve been getting emails from Kirkland’s and this seems to be the color this season. I actually don’t mind it as a pop of color.
My brother remodeled his house recently and some of his kitchen cabinets are a shade of blue. It’s very pretty.
