This is a single bed size, I used the sweet pea stitch. It’s a housewarming gift, the recipient chose the colours.

Oh my goodness muggins! There is something very special about your animals. I think they need to have stories written about them! That’s a pretty colour choice by your friend JoP

I am knitting! Yay! I've been knitting for over 50 years and I am using a circular needle for the first time ever. mmm. It's like working with an octopus, the plasticky bit flaps around and I don't feel there's any substance to it. My yarn keeps getting tangled in it. Two things I have learnt : it would have been a good idea to be aware of the colour of the needle before buying it as the points are a marbled purple/green colour and one of my yarn colours is marbled purple/green and the plasticky bit is reddy/purple and the second of my yarn colours is reddy/purple. 2nd, I find it really difficult counting stitches on the plasticky bit, it's like counting them against thin air. Those of you who use these all the time have my admiration! Good quality circulars with flexible cords are an absolute must. They will make a huge difference. I really love the Chaigoo brand.

I'll have a look for those, elaine. This is a KnitPro Symfonie and I don't think I'd cope with a cable any thinner. Does your work not catch on the join where the cable enters the needle on the rotating ones? My chaigoo fixed circulars and interchangeable reds do not catch at all. My chaigoo spin interchangeables catch occasionally but aren’t bad at all.

I love your cheeky monkey muggins. I have the makings for my second figure to start this week. By the way I like how big and clear your pics are.

Hilda the Horse. The head was really difficult to do and this was just supposed to be a prototype but eventually I decided just to finish the whole thing and move on.
