Garage sales don’t count - somebody already bought it - your just rescuing it 😉 lol! I like this! Last time, I got a bunch of October Afternoon stuff, so I am hopeful.

Ok, thought I would type this out just to get it out of my head. Today is Feb 12th. There is a crop I am supposed to in March that is 40 dollars for the two days, but then I always spend at least 10 bucks there, on random things as the lady that runs it also sells CM. She is not pushy at all though. So say 50 bucks there. I have not signed up for that however, as my friend I was supposed to go with found out that is the same weekend she will be out of town. BUT there is a scrapbook store that I love a little way (45 miles) out of town, that is having a scrapbook garage sale April 4th. I would love to go to this-the last time I went a few years ago, I got a bunch of stuff that I really used. SO-if I skip the crop, that is 50 bucks in my pocket. Plus, if I stay out of TM from now until April 4th (gulp!!!) I could figure out a reasonable amount to add to my shopping fund. Also, who am I kidding, if I go to the store with the garage sale, I will also likely want some "latest and greatest" stuff. One last thought-if I really commit to scrapping, and less shopping from now until April 4th, I could make quite a dent in my stash and thus feel better about buying more. I need to really commit to this though. Tuesday Morning is my total downfall. Garage sales don’t count - somebody already bought it - your just rescuing it 😉
Shopping and spending money is still shopping and spending money.

Darn, I broke my freeze already. I bought PL page protectors ($8) and some stickers ($2) at Tuesday Morning and I bought Ali's DITL kit ($25) (although I used a Christmas Gift Card to purchase). I need to view this chat more often to keep my Resolve!

Luckily we’re not the kind of peas that come with a warning that it’s dangerous to thaw us a little bit and then put us back in the freezer again Your shopping doesn’t sound terribly extravagant- most people would be pretty lucky to get out of TM with so little! Hopefully the supplies you got will be well used and you can chill back down for a while.

I've been scrapbooking more the last 2 weeks and it reinforced I do not need anything!
But, I really want Carta Bella's Family Night collection. I do have a gift card to ACOT.

I've been pretty good this year. white cardstock, enamel dots, & 12x12 page protectors. That's it.
There are things that I want, but haven't bought yet.
And impulse buys that I've walked away from. Lots of cheap stickers fall in this category. I need to just stop looking so I won't be tempted.

I have successfully maintained my avoidance of TM this year! And barely been into Joann's or Michaels either. I needed some yarn but it wasn't available from J's IRL stores so it's taking the long and winding road across the country to me and I don't have to get tempted in the shop. I found a list I made last year of the stamps I could use for Mother's Day cards. There were 7 sets, plus 2 more sets and a die that I bought after I made the list last year. I stacked those plus all my embossing folders that could be used for mother-ish cards in a pile on my desk to prove that I have an abundance. I just need to take the time to actually turn each supply into some cards. And that's not even including punny cards I could make from my binder of Doodlebug. I guess I need to get back to crafting! I have so much cool stuff to play with. How are you other chilly folks doing now that it's almost March?

I was doing pretty good until I needed to return some things to Tuesday Morning and happened upon the newly restocked craft aisle. I restrained myself (mostly) but then my shopping juices got flowing and I took a look over at SC and somehow a few items stumbled into my cart and surprise! Free shipping!
I'm firmly back in the freezer.
Until most likely tomorrow when KP's release goes live.

I bought some undo and super skinny double sided adhesive and put a deposit down for my retreat next year. About $65 in total. I was sooo tempted to grab a bunch of collections at the crop but I never got around to it. I’m going to need white card stock in a month or two. Other than that, I’m still pretty solidly frozen.

I’ve been good. I eventually want to get a filing cabinet for my work files and memorabilia to share. But held fast on the resolution of no more paper! Congrats to everyone who’s managing to stay frozen

I thawed for Kelly Purkey's final shop release. I didn't go overboard but focused on what had been on my "if she ever designs this" wish list. Loads of other things I liked and could easily use but I felt I'd spent enough on the Disney park swag bag and stamp set already. This kind of "balanced treat" works best for me these days. Wait until what I've been wishing for becomes available and get that while not paying too much attention to all the other pretties. Detour-shopping is too dangerous... My March spending will likely be a print order. I think I'll run out of adhesive this spring so I'll need to look into ordering some of that as well. Otherwise, I'm (still) all good!

Feb was a no crafty spend month for me and I want March to be the same. Lots of expenses with the house and I still have stamps that I haven’t inked up yet. Have been avoiding opening emails and watching YouTube and so far I’m holding strong.

I've been really good this year up until Saturday when I went to a scrappy garage sale. I didn't go crazy but I did pick up some older supplies I'm really excited about from BG and Cosmo Cricket, and scored one of the giant CM circle cutters for $5 which will mean no more raiding the dinner plates to find the right sized circle shape.

I definitely can't claim to be frozen, but I have bought so much less than I would have if I hadn't been really intentional about my purchases. My February purchases included 3 Lawn Fawn pre-ordered dies, one sheet of paper, and two sticker sheets. And photo paper and ink. I also successfully completed Layout a Day (including my December Documented mini album), so I'm pretty proud of myself. Tomorrow I'm paying for a three day crop (including meals) that's in May. Spending never ends, but I'm making use of what I have, and I appreciate the peas' support.

I’m still pretty frozen — what has stopped me are shipping costs. I know a lot of small businesses can’t compete with large ones on shipping costs, but I have a hard time swallowing $8-9 shipping.
It def stopped me from buying some items at Citrus Twist the past couple of weeks.

When a Nearly $30 product that can slip in a padded envelope and ship for $4 costs $7-$8 to ship its makes you think twice. Sorry, but it does. When 3 of those same products will fit in the same envelope and ship for $7 but the shipping is $21-24 I’m definitely out. Period. That’s just robbery
