Also, it's should HAVE/should've, not should OF.

Yes, thank you!
Can I add one of my pet peeves, it is: pique = arouse e.g. your review piqued my interest peek = look e.g I took a peek round the corner peak = top e.g. gas prices reached their peak in 2013

and I shall add "I couldn't care less" not "I could care less."
If you can care less, then go ahead. Not being able to care less is usually the problem. Thank you. Carry on.

Two more that have been driving me crazy lately:
affect vs. effect
affect is a verb The bad weather affected our vacation. effect is a noun Alcoholism has many bad effects on families.
discreet vs. discrete
Full Definition of DISCREET 1 : having or showing discernment or good judgment in conduct and especially in speech : prudent; especially : capable of preserving prudent silence 2 : unpretentious, modest <the warmth and discreet elegance of a civilized home — Joseph Wechsberg> 3 : unobtrusive, unnoticeable <followed at a discreet distance>
Please be discreet about this. Having a discreet affair isn't easy.
Discrete means separate or distinct from one another.
Our government has three discrete divisions.

Affect and effect can each be a noun or verb.
You can affect something, effect a change, have a flat affect, or observe the effect.
It is all in the context!
