Tonight I put together 8 pages of baseball kits. I have been moving my premade layouts to different storage and found about 30+ pages that need to be completed. Going to do those for the next few days.

I'm on a break at work, and all I want to do is scrapbook and putter in my craft room. I am making lists of pages that I want to get done this weekend, and a couple of techniques I want to try. I also am behind 2(!!) Tuesday Card challenges, so need to get my butt in gear on those. I love having crafty projects stacked up! Plus I hope my correct ink pad comes in the mail today or tomorrow. I did not get a shipping notice from Ranger (I bought a mislabled ink pad) but they said they would send it out ASAP so fingers crossed.

Spent the last few hours making mini page kits for the last few photos of my last print order, which had to have been placed about a month ago. I really need to print more, but I want to get at least 100 edited and ready to go at the same time so I can get a better price. But I'm only halfway there and I'm really sick of editing.
I have to get moving on it though because I'm going to blow through this last bunch this week I think.

I've been working on a page all night, and I can't find the alpha dies I want to use. Ugh. It's almost like I'm being punished for not putting my supplies away when I'm done using them.

After being stalled on my ephemera reorganization project, I finally found a solution. I have always kept my ephemera and stickers for scrapbooking in PSB (I have 3). I have a smaller collection of vintage ephemera for my collages/gluebooks stored in clear pockets in a bin. I wanted a desktop storage that I could see everything and actually use it. I didn’t want to use clear coin and baseball card pocket pages in a binder because they are so floppy and hard to access. I have found that the pages used for storing postage stamps work much better as they are more rigid. I bought some used ones that are working out just fine. The only down side is they are black so for vellum pieces I have to add a white backer paper to each pocket. It’s that or make my own pocket pages in white (which I have been trying to avoid). I have sorted and stored 3/4 of my stash in just a few hours. Now it all fits in a single notebook binder and I can see and remove all those tiny pieces easily.

I went to Ikea this morning and bought the wide Alex drawer unit. I measured and it will just fit in the space I have for it. I can’t wait to put it together and fill it. It will make my new area in my bedroom much better! i just asked my daughter to take me to hobby lobby on her day off :)she said yes I was in the rehab for month so I have not been there:)

I made a layout with a divided sheet protector and I used a CRAP ton of flowers! I really do like them, but they don't ever seem to fit what I'm scrapping, but this was for a wedding! I also noticed there is a difference in the quality of the Dollar Tree flowers vs Prima flowers, but it's really not that significant to me to justify the extra cost of paying for Prima at the actual cost; unless they happen to coordinate with the perfect page.

I wanted a desktop storage that I could see everything and actually use it. I didn’t want to use clear coin and baseball card pocket pages in a binder because they are so floppy and hard to access. This is how I sorted embellishments when I first started scrapbooking and did it for a long time. I had the same problem.
My new solution is kind of like yours. I use 8.5x11 binders. I cut wax paper to fit into the sheet protectors and put white cardstock in there for stability. I have a Kallax unit, so for the 12x12 border stickers, I cut the wax paper to 8.5x12 and they just stick out above the binder. For the most part, it has worked well. Sometimes stickers stick too well and don't come off cleanly. It's not a big deal for me to add a little adhesive because I'm using them much more. For paper diecuts, I add a little adhesive from my ATG tape.
I store items on both sides of the white cardstock. It's really easy to pull out the sheet of wax paper and take off what I want.
I also bought old photo albums with the sticky pages and adhered stickers to the front of those. It was a much easier process but they stuck a little too well. Then there was some stickers that aren't the best quality that have fallen off. I like having page protectors to catch the occasional diecut or sticker that falls off.

I have Avalanche hockey paper. Last night my kids and husband went to an outdoor Avalanche game at the Air Force Academy. I told them to take some pictures so I could use that paper. I took two pictures of them before they left. Today they all sent me over 50 pictures. Ha. They are just as bad (good?) about taking photos as their mom is.

My eyes are bugging out of my head from all the photo editing and page planning I've been doing. I still have 5 more categories of photos to go through for 2019, three of which I've started already. The easy ones are a birthday 2 pager (53 photos still to sort through,) a trip to a farm 4 pager (narrowed it down to 24 to edit from 220 at the start,) and a misc fall 2 pager (narrowed down to 18 to edit from 90 at the start.) Then I have Hanukkah and Christmas which I haven't even looked at, and a trip to Universal Orlando which is insanity but at least I've done bits and pieces of it already.
I might let the Universal trip wait, but I really want to get everything for my 2019 family album done so I can organize it. I feel like I'm so close, but the ones I saved for last are doozies!

I worked on completing all of the page kits I have had (all precut with directions). I finished about 24 pages this weekend and once I finish the four I stated tonight, I will be all caught up. Feels good. Then I have my cruise album to start.

I’ve been getting lots of pages done! I switched from 8 1/2 by 11 to 12 by 12 at the end of 1998 and have been working on photos from 1995. I’m really enjoying making fairly simple pages with Echo Park paper and sticker packs. The stack of completed layouts is a great encouragement to keep going!
And for the first time ever I killed a paper pack! I had Simple Stories Lil’ Dude pack with 12 papers, 12 by 12 sticker sheet, 6 by 12 chipboard, 2 sheets of puffy stickers and the 4 by 6 sticker pack. I used all of the paper, most of the chipboard and at least half of the stickers. I need to count how many pages I got done...I added a lot of card stock to the kit.

I kitted up three layouts this afternoon, hopefully to work on tomorrow.
I started with a sheet of cardstock, then only pulled pattern paper from my scraps bag.
I'm making an effort to pull from my scraps before i trash it later this year.

I went to a 4 day retreat this past weekend, but as it turned out, my son got married Friday evening so I lost a day of the retreat. However the next 3 days I got 65 8.5x11 pages done and all put away when I got home. Do you know that I did an entire 3 ring 8.5x11 WRMK album of my DGD's first birthday? It included her portraits, her actual birthday and her party, and even with the photos reduced to 2 on a 4x6 I filled an album. For one event. My friend and I went to 2 Tuesday mornings and Hobby Lobby. I find it hard to find stuff I want anymore since Michaels and Hobby Lobby both have only their own brands pretty much any more. Who will sell Jolies and Paper House? As for the wedding, it was so informal that the bride wore jeans and sneakers, which I was saddened about, but I brought her some flowers to carry and got them a small cake. Photos are terrible but one of his friends took photos with a nice camera so I am hoping to get and edit those. They were so invested in having this wedding be an informal formality that it was like something 2 drunk people do in a Bruno Mars song "It's a beautiful night, we're looking for something dumb to do, hey baby, I think I'm gonna marry you..." Never the less I looked good and I dressed DGD like a little fairy princess and she was precious. So no more crops in Feb but got 3 lined up for March.
