I’ve been saving up my Rakuten (Ebates) money for this printer. I didn’t have enough when it was $199. Thanks for the heads up on the price reduction. I got my printer the other day and can’t wait to use it.

Mulling this over since it was posted. I had 100 bucks in gift cards, so that was an easy decision once I remembered them in my wallet.

My Epson PM-400, purchased Nov. 2018, won’t connect to my wifi, or print directly at all! After running through everything with tech support, they agreed it is the network card, and are sending me a new (refurbished) printer. Apparently it’s still under warranty. I’m so relieved I don’t have to buy a new one, and very happy with the service, in case anyone is on the fence about buying it.

It’s awesome! I love this printer so much!

Yay, thanks all. I ordered one for my birthday. I can't wait to put it to use. Excited about the 3X8 option. I am doing a physical PL this year and this printer will be so helpful for it.

FYI, this is $119.99 on Amazon right now. Best price I’ve ever seen on it...

The ad I saw said $119 for refurbished printer only - no ink. Then lower on the page I saw $159 for refurbished printer, ink and paper. Another thing is, Amazon doesn't always ship from the manufacture's place. It's a tricky world out there.

The link on amazon did not say refurbished. I’ve had it in my cart on save for later for months when it was $200

The refurb one is currently $140

Enable me...why is a Picturemate so amazing? I won't need a photo printer for normal everyday printing, but on the occasion I need to reprint a photo, missed one in a big order, need another picture to fill out a PL spread, etc etc etc it is nice to have one. I also like the idea of having one handy if I do a daily project (for me, it's 30 days of thankful and not so much DD), but you get the idea.
Why is this better than my Canon Pixma?
Does it print true borderless? When I print PL cards from the app to use in my physical scrapping, I have to import them to my computer and then put 3 4x6 images into a Word doc and print on a full sheet of letter cardstock. If I print them on 4x6 paper, the program within my printer zooms it ever so slightly and if the design needs to be centered or has important details on the edge, it often gets cropped. Will I have the same problem with the Picturemate or will I be able to easily print things from the PL app without the extra steps from my computer?
If I'm going to splurge, I need to feel like I'm making a logical decision and not an impulse one based on it being one of those tools that all the big names love, lol.

After debating about it overnight (and another order of off-colored Walgreens prints yesterday, again), I bought one today too! Thank you so much for posting this, and for all the positive feedback on it. I'm really excited!

I was able to snag one- sooooooooo glad I did! I have had a Cannon Selphy and never been truly happy with it. Aside from the size being off and the annoying perforated edges, the quality was just never very good. I have had connections issues with it on and off and recently it just stopped working completely. So glad I bought the Epson- now my biggest dilemma is do I go back and reprint any pictures? The quality is just that much better!

I'll take a crack at enablement. I don't have the Picturemate but I do have the Selphy. Here's why I love it - it's TINY! It fits right on my scrap table. I bring it to crops. I bring it to different parts of the house. I stopped printing pics w/a service long ago. Now I print when I feel like scrapping, only those I feel like scrapping, and in whatever size (up to 4x6) that I feel like scrapping. It's been wonderful and I wouldn't go back to printing pics all together and w/o knowing what size will work depending on what I want my layout to look like.

I bit the bullet too! I tried hard to refrain but I caved in a weak moment. I'm pretty excited about the convenience.

I bought too. I had 125 in gift cards saved up, so it would be silly not to buy, right?
