I liked the movie clips, but if they cut this performance by Eminem that doesn't have anything to do with this year's nominees, everyone could have an extra 30 seconds in their speech.

I liked the movie clips but would rather get performances from more recent movies than warmed-over Eminem (full disclosure: I don't like him anyway). Give me Anthony Ramos previewing some In the Heights songs, people.

I am a huge fan of Eminem and love that song, but I have no idea why it was in this year’s show. It was fun to see everyone getting into it and that he got a standing ovation. Huh... I hope we get the back story on why he/the song was included.

LOL see this is why I hate the political/inclusive subliminal stuff. Guy comes out and raps about inclusiveness and introduces 2 white people.
I feel like the oscars tries to show everyone hey we are inclusive but it really comes across as forced, humorous and hey it's time to have an inclusive bit in the show.

It was a tribute to music in the movies. I don't get it. Kevin Hart didn't host the Oscars because of some past homophobic tweets. Yet Eminem gets do a tribute to music, in the age of #metoo even though he constantly degrades women in his lyrics? "Play nice? It's kind of surprising and sad that a museum is finally a reality.
Debbie Reynolds tried for years to at least get a museum created for costumes and items from movies and collected 1000s of items for it but ended up putting them up for auction.
