I've always slept on my stomach or my side. During the past 5 years or so, I began to sleep on my back out of necessity (many eye surgeries that forced me to sleep that way) and I got used to it. I have bamboo pillows that I could mush, so I mush up the top one and put it at the base of my neck. Kinda keeps you in that position.
As a sidenote, I find myself snoring MUCH more when I'm on my back. Not too sure if it helps with wrinkles, etc. I'll have to take a closer look. (I'm 59 and <---------- that pic is pretty current). When I do sleep on my side it's only for a few minutes before my shoulder, hip and knee all start hurting. I blame my statins on it!
Good luck!

Last night I was starting to go to sleep on my back and started snoring, which woke me up. I’m hoping that a different pillow will help with that.

Last night I was starting to go to sleep on my back and started snoring, which woke me up. I’m hoping that a different pillow will help with that. This is the pillow that works wonders for me sleeping on my back. The anti-gravity setting is still the key, but paired with this pillow, it is perfect. Your head is cradled and it is very relaxing to be able to rest against the wings. It also makes it harder to turn on your side. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073Z3ZQRQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1warning: it isn’t cheap, but due to the surgeries, I had to find a solution that worked for allowing me to sleep on my back.

Well, I have been trying to sleep on my back for three days now with no luck. I need to either get a new pillow or put another one under my current pillow. For those that use a wedge pillow, do you also use another pillow with it? They just look so hard and not comfy at all. Yes, I do have a pillow on the wedge, not that I stay on it all night, but it is there. I do not think the wedge is too too hard. I just need to be up. Reflux is the pits!

That looks perfect!!!!!!! Gosh, I could use that post-eye-surgeries!!!!!!!!! I'm not supposed to even really move my head, so this would be perfect! I usually use the neck eggcrate thing they give in the hospital but it doesn't really hold your head still. Thanks! This is going on my wishlist.

I can’t tell you how much I hated spending $70 on a pillow, but that thing is gold for back sleeping! I can’t tell you how many pillows I’ve purchased and tried - not happily. If something happens to this one, I’ll replace it.

elaine I totally understand that. When you're hurting, you need things that make you feel comfortable. DH and I have different pillow taste, and we often try it and then give it to each other. Feels like The Princess And The Pea, but it's hard to find the perfect pillow. This looks pretty perfect, and you deserve it!!!!
