Way to go! I wish I could do Yoga, but it triggers my inner ear, the room starts spinning, and I get sick for hours. I will stick to walking and weights, and I salute you. This is me too. Given all of that and the fact my big toe is fused (like your forearm). It doesn't bend at all. I'm not supposed to jump nor attempt to stand tiptoe or curl my toes. I know....I had no idea how many times when working out my toes were bent. I paid so much attention to my toes today. You do use them a lot. Weird. You could do chair yoga. Those chair-yoga'ers get warm!

That’s awesome! I started the thread a few weeks ago. I’ve done three classes on the peleton app and I am so not good. But I will keep trying.

Those chair-yoga'ers get warm! Ankles too I have weak ankles, yoga was killer on my ankles. It was bad. I even fell over. I had PT for a work injury & they decided to do both ankles so I wouldn’t be ‘lopsided’. I now only die a little when I do yoga. I never knew how many exercises there are for just ankles. Good for you keeping up with it. Yoga is great for your body.

I redeemed myself tonight! Now I need to make it pretty and go down from standing. 5.5 months to goal date! Any tips for me? I did a restorative class this morning, it was so relaxing I didnt mind that I woke up at 4:44 for it! Lol

Wednesday a friend was telling me he goes to yoga for age 55+ I ought to sign up....He said class was full. Maybe next semester as it is held at community college.

So I looked up Baron Baptiste on YouTube and picked a random video of his to do. I really liked that he kept it moving without all the chatter often found in those videos that leave you hanging in one pose for what feels like forever. He has a serene, encouraging voice too. I've done Yoga with Adriene for a long time. I'm going to like doing many of his to switch it up a bit. Thanks for sharing about him!

You did good, girl!!! January 1st- I could not bend over and touch my toes. Apple shape, very out of shape and old I can still touch my toes, in fact often put my palms on the floor, slowly NOT bouncing down. I could barely touch my toes when I was 21, 5'9 and 120 lbs.
