I no longer keep my car remote/fob on my key ring because the weight of the keys caused problems with my last car. Other than keys, do you have anything else hanging on your key ring?

I have a mini Stanley tape measure and a number of house keys.
I do put everything on a carabiner, though, so I can unclip the heavy stuff when my key is in the ignition or I just need my house keys (I only drive 1-2x per week since we are in Chicago).
I suspect the weight isn’t an issue for those with push-to-start cars.

Not really but all my keys are attached to a lanyard. I have a push start car, so I don't need my key then. So I keep my keys, my work credit card, in a case, house key all attached together.

I have my car key on a Las Vegas key ring and that's it. I don't carry keys around at all though. My car key is a smart key, so it stays in my purse most of the time. My house has an electronic lock, so i don't carry a house key either.

Just a small bottle opener. For those impromptu beers that don’t have a twist off cap, I guess.

A plastic koala keychain that was a gift from a dear friend in Australia. She brought it with her when she came to visit me, so I keep it on there to remind me of that time. Every time I look at my keys I smile.

My car has a push button start, so there are no worries about weight in the ignition.
I have: 4 keys fob for car next alarm fob tile keyring with a picture of my grandparents when they were young, snuggling on a couch and looking into each other's eyes.
I have a separate work keychain: 5 keys tile

I have Joy and Sadness from the Inside Out movie. They are really a mess and I should take them off but I enjoy the dichotomy of them. I actually have Fox in Sox and Cat in the Hat waiting to take their place. All were gifts.

I have house keys, the key to my parent's house (it's a nostalgia thing), the remote / key fob for my car, the key fob for DH's car, a Lego Luke Skywalker, and a Lego Yoda. Yeah, they're heavy, but it doesn't matter: the key fob just has to be in proximity to the starter button so my keys always stay in a pocket of my purse.

I used to have a condom attached to my key ring. That was back in the fun days. These days I have a tiny pair of folding scissors. They have come in handy a few times.

I use a small lightweight carabiner on mine. I hook it to a little metal ring that I sewed near the base of the handle just inside my purse. I hate having to fish around for my keys and since adding the little ring, I have no issues with locating my keys in seconds. I use this as my main key ring: www.amazon.com/FreeKey-2825-System/dp/B00AQ664H6/ref=sr_1_32?keywords=Key+ring&qid=1581616396&sr=8-32 It is very lightweight and the big ring is made to allow the small rings to slide off super easy without having to dig your fingernail into the crack to make an opening. I hated doing that on my old ring! The ring is slightly warped on one side and you just pinch it to make the opposite side lift up to release the small ring of your choice. The keys remain on small rings all the time. You can put more than one key on a small ring to create custom groupings if you want to. I ordered multiple additional small rings and can add/subtract things as needed very easily. I also put the small rings on things like my little tape measure, pepper spray container, small flashlight, packet of doggy poop bags, etc. and add whatever I need for whatever I am doing. A park walk will be just the car key, poop bags, and pepper spray. Everything else either stays at home or in the car. I also have a second small metal ring attached inside my purse to latch the ring of extra things that I don’t use daily.

I only have my car fob. I don't even have to take it out of my purse to unlock the car or crank it. I love that. I do have an elastic hair tie on it so I can attach it to my bra strap if I go and walk at the park. The only other key I have is a house key and I keep that in my car on a kangaroo key chain that my DD brought back from Australia. I don't ever need that because we don't lock the house door that's accessed through the garage so it's in my car for 'just in case'.

I'm curious, with your car registration having you address on it, do you worry at all about leaving your house key in your car where it could be taken along with your registration? <----asks the girl who lives in a city where car ransaking is a frequent occurance.

We only have to have license and proof of insurance with us in our car. I keep both of those in my purse. But no, I don't worry about car ransacking. It's very rare for a car to get broken into here. One reason I love where I live is because of low crime. It's relatively "safe" as one can be these days.

I need that! I carry a small plastic tape measure in my purse, but I hate the weight and bulk. I recently switched to a Kate Spade key ring that has a long strap. I’m finding that rather nice because I don’t lose it in the bottom of my purse. Currently my keychain has my car key, my house key and my key fob and a little Mickey Mouse head thing I got years ago in Disney World. The whole thing is pretty light weight.

Just my keys and the two fobs for the car (1 remote start, 1 manufacture). I put my keys in my pocket too often to want any more bulk.

I don’t have a key ring. I grab the fob for the car I’m driving and walk out the door. We go in and out through our garage door, and I’m not sure if we even have keys for the doors, or where they would be.
The key to my post office box and the key to our restaurant are in my wallet, and those are the only two keys I use regularly.

Two plastic rings from the carousel in Spokane. I've had them for 30+ years now, so I'm fairly confident the statute of limitations has long passed and I will freely admit that I stole them. LOL

I have my car fob and house key on a beaded elephant keyring I picked up in Zimbabwe years ago.
Work keys are on a separate keyring as I hardly ever need them.
We keep a key rack with extra fobs to each of our cars so if any of the three of us need to drive another vehicle, we can grab it.

House key, car key, school keycard (I have a tiny one that goes around with me and then a big one on my lanyard for when I’m at work), classroom key, gym cards. It’s all on a key ring that has detachable holders for each thing, so if I just need a car key I can take the rest off.
It just means that wherever I go any key/access card I may need is all together in one place.
