My sister lives near Minot, ND. I might have to work out a trade for these pretzels in exchange for goodies from Trader Joe’s since they don’t have a TJ’a in the whole state!

We sell them at our restaurant (we’ve had them for a couple of years, and I hate that they are available everywhere now!), and they are crazy popular. I’m not a fan.
I don’t mind the candy bars, though.

They remind me of Chex mix, but it's just the pretzels

I don't think they taste like chex mix at all. It's definitely a spicer, more stronger flavor. Just think about the price though, you guys. We are supporting a small town company. USA made. It's the American dream. It's worth it.

If you'd like to support a different U.S. company that makes pretzels that are to die for, try Sarris' chocolate-covered pretzels. The dark chocolate are my favorite candy ever. Love to let the chocolate melt in my mouth until the salty pretzel underneath comes through. YUM! Sarris Pretzels

I've never seen those around here, but I do occasionally get these Pub Cheese Sourdough Pretzel Pieces from Whole Foods that are AMAZING. Luckily I don't go to Whole Foods very often because these are completely addictive.

I found some at WaWa a few weeks ago. They were ok, I think we still have most of the bag in the pantry.

Ok, I ordered some on Amazon as a result of this thread. They should be here today, so I will come back with our opinion

I had never heard of these pretzels till I looked at this thread yesterday and then when I went to Kroger last night I saw them in the chip section. They were $6 a bag which is pretty pricey. I really liked them! I thought my husband would love them but he wasn't impressed. I think my teen boys will finish them off today.

FYI, our Ace Hardware carries them for $5.99 for a 1 lb. bag. I was told they can't keep them in stock.

Thanks for the reviews! I’m curious enough that I ordered some. What’s money anyway when you get a good pretzel made by a nice lady.

I kept seeing this thread yesterday but didn't read it. Then I went to Kroger later in the day and they had them stacked everywhere. I was so mad I hadn't read the post to know what the peas said about them! It did make me laugh though, it was a Twilight Zone moment.

I like Dots, especially that the pretzel itself isn't so crunchy hard.
I told my dad about them since he always loved the homemade version my mom made. He looked at Walmart where he lives (FL) and couldn't find them. I bought two bags and sent them along with a couple of items, and the box was $19!! I sure hope he loves them.
PS I recently got Amazon Prime. If he does enjoy the pretzels, do you know if I can purchase them but have them delivered to him?

At checkout, click the address under shipping address. You can choose to add an address to send it to.

Had these for the first time last winter. I was visiting my parents in Ft.Myers and we were at an Italian Deli/restaurant. They were demoing these with a lobster dip OMG. I did find them when I came home and completely forgot about them until now...guess a trip to the small grocery store is in order.

I forgot to come back to this post. I got mine from Amazon on Saturday. My daughter and I are fans! I would buy them again, even at $16.99 for two bags. Supporting an American business is a bonus.

Bought a bag at Total Wine when we were there Saturday. DH and I really like them. He asked me where I had heard of them, and I replied “the message board”, and he responded: “I should have known!”

I had to laugh when a local newspaper columnist, in mentioning rather random things the other day, included Dot's pretzels. He’s evidently a fan.

I love them! I buy them occasionally-especially when we have company. That way I don't eat them all myself. I used to make my own, but I think Dot's are better!
Here's my recipe for those that want a less spicy version. I use unsalted pretzels (sticks or small pretzel are my favorites, but you can you use any shape)
2 big bags of pretzels (2lbs. total) Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Package (dressing, not the dip pkg.) 1 Table Spoon Garlic Salt 1 Table Spoon Dill Weed 1 bottle of Orville Redenbacher Butter Flavor Popcorn Oil Mix all together and let sit over night - mixing occasionally. (I use a huge Tupperware bowl) You may notice a lot of oil left over the next day if you mixed it in a plastic container - I usually dump out the coated pretzels and wash out the remaining oil that didn't coat the pretzels. Others put the ingredients in a brown paper bag over night to get the oil to soak out. Either way I am sure its fine.

I just wish they were crunchier and a little less spicy. I sure do not get a 'soft' vibe off them. Mine are quite crisp and crunchy. They are not hard as a rock, but I don't get any softness to mine. THey do have just a small spicy kick. Hard to stop eating them! LOL

I do enjoy them (not worth $10 imo) but they are made with MSG which is a no no for me and our family. It's shame they have to use that stuff.

Because of this thread, I found a bag on Saturday at a gas station to try. $4.59 for a 5oz bag. They are really good!!! I think a grocery store here has them, so I'll get a larger bag too.

I’ve purchased so many things based on pea recommendation. I’m tempted, but I don’t need a pound of pretzels, which is the smallest package. I will probably look for them the next time I am in Target though, if it comes in a smaller size.

Lexica-I have not seen them in smaller packages. Trust me, a pound won't last long. They are addictive!
