There was some kind of dry-ish adhesive that came on a pad or a paper backing or something.
You would place the item on top of the adhesive and peel off the adhesive. Individual die cut letters for a title, for example. Placing that letter used up the adhesive in that spot of the backing.
I usually use my Xyron X sticker maker for die cut letters, but the Xyron leaves residue on shiny paper.
I remember this product from years ago but don't know what it was called. Do you?
Thanks for any help you can give me!

I have something like that somewhere here. I think it's from thermoweb and it's sheets of little dots. Going on a quest . . .
Well that took like no time. It is by thermoweb and it's called sticky dots.

I remember that too. I was curious and did a Google search and saw a post on Splitcoast Stampers from 2008 and I think it was actually DryBond (which I guess is a moot point because I don't think it is being sold now). Anyway, here is the post: Also saw on another website where somebody ordered the QVC TSV (the Lisa Bearnson kit, talk about a blast from the past) and DryBond so I think that's what I remember seeing back then. But anyway, the Thermoweb stuff works the same, now I am tempted to buy some.

The Thermoweb Sticky dots are much stickier than Dry Bond. I have a couple of pad of DryBond in my stash from years ago and I am hoarding it because I haven't been able to find it recently. I tried the Sticky Dots and I made a huge mess with detailed die cuts. The adhesive is super sticky like that of Xyron so I had a lot of goopy edges. And it is NOT repositionable. Just my .02

Thanks for any help you can give me! i find lately that my diecut comes off the xyron backing paper but leaves the adhesive on the Backing paper & no adhesive on my diecut from my xyron ( yes they are brand new cartridges ) xyron just isn’t as good as it used to be they have to have changed the formula while I wasn’t scrapping. In fact my old cartridge worked better than my new ones

I had, loved, and hoarded the Dry Bond. I was so sad when it was discontinued. Now I just use an adhesive roller by 3L with repositionable dots. I'm not sure that it is the most economical, but it is fast and works well.
