The 2Peas Refugees have spoken and elected March 6-8 for the megaaa crop weekend. And it's coming up real soon, now! Come in and make yourself at home. Share whether you'll be participating all weekend long or only on select days, play along with the first challenges and share how you're getting ready for the big weekend! Challenge #1: prep a crop kit. The better prepared you are for those three intense days, the more chance you stand of being productive. A crop kit ideally includes: - pattern paper + coordinating cardstock - matching embellishments - matching alpha stickers - stamp sets + inks - your adhesive(s) of choice Challenge #2: make a list + print photos. - which events do you want to scrap during the crop? - which cards do you want to make during the crop? - which unfinished project do you want to work on? - which specifically themed embellishments do you need to fish out for these pages and cards? - which photos still need editing + printing? Let's get prepping!

I am going to try to join in on the 8th! I originally was going to be around, but now I'm away at a conference for Friday-Saturday. I'll definitely participate in the challenges listed here and hope that they get my creative juices going!

I will have a brand new baby during these dates but perhaps I can join in for at least something. Let's see....I can at least print photos and maybe prep a kit.

What about a PL ‘kit’? Would that count if it isn’t a pre made kit?

What about a PL ‘kit’? Would that count if it isn’t a pre made kit? Any type of kit counts! Project Life, traditional LOs, planner pages, cardmaking and any other type of craft (knitting, crochet, décor-making, whatever makes your creative heart skip a beat). Just adapt the contents to fit your craft, your needs and your stash.

I'll definitely participate in the challenges listed here and hope that they get my creative juices going! Sounds like you'll be a busy bee that weekend! I hope you can find a bit of time to hop in and see what everyone's up to. Maybe even find a little bit of time to craft for yourself? However things pan out, I hope you wonderful time at the conference! I will have a brand new baby during these dates but perhaps I can join in for at least something. Let's see... Super exciting, catseatcheese. You might be a bit tired with the newborn but I hope you'll come in and introduce him/her to this merry bunch of paper crazies! Wishing you a safe and easy delivery in advance, by the way.

Let's get prepping! Hi! This was super super fun last year!!! I am in again for this year! I will be around Friday morning, Saturday morning, and all day Sunday. I will be placing a photo order between now and then. I (in theory) will be scrapping Dec,Jan and Feb photos, but we shall see for sure. My scrap room has been completely taken apart (its a good thing, new furniture etc) so this will be challenging. Between now and the crop I will work at getting it back together, and ordering photos.

I'll be around Friday (on and off) and all day Sunday, I hope. But Saturday I'll be watching DD on the stage at a college show. I hope I get some decent pictures! I'm getting closer to placing my mega photo order, and I'll be matching up papers to them as soon as I get them in my hot little hands

I'm planning to use my new Not Just For Boys Kit club kits. I still need to print a few photos. I may also do some digital layouts and need to check where I left off on that project.

I have tons of photos to scrap and tons of supplies to scrap them with. Need to make sure I have GLUE for that weekend.
A couple of notes... If you regularly join in the monthly TEAM challenges, I am offering up DOUBLE POINTS for anything created during the crop weekend. If you don't usually play along with the Teams, and would like to check it out, you could sign up for March and see how you like it. I will be posting a March sign up thread early this coming week.
And I really want to figure out how to get some cyber face-to-face contact going that weekend as well. Hoping to set up a Hangout session Saturday afternoon here in Mountain time. Looking at the world clock to see if we can find times when AZ and AU (it would catch Sunday morning) and Europe (later Saturday evening) would all have a chance to join in.

Count me in! I need a scrappy weekend to work on some old 12x12 layouts and catch up on last year's album. My prep time will consist of cleaning up my studio so I have a nice space to hang out in all weekend.

I got my photo order in tonight. 306 prints! Everything for my 2019 album and a separate vacation album too.
That should keep me busy for awhile!

I've set aside an hour to edit photos so I can *finally* get a print order in! It truly is time... I just need to suck it up, open Photoshop and get down to business. Today's the day! (I say, filled with renewed enthusiasm while side-eyeing myself at the same time)

Just a quick invitation: if any crop participants want to also sign up for a March Challenge TEAM, you can do that HEREYou can post your own challenge (say "finish a project", or even "finish a page in a December Daily", or "create a page kit for a crop", or "use chipboard", whatever your goal is for the MEGA crop, then encourage yourself even more to "get it done", and earn points for doing that. Actually DOUBLE points for anything completed the crop weekend. But if you want to be on a March team, you need to let me know in the sign up thread no later than Saturday evening (in Alberta)

Yay!!! I'm so excited about this!! I missed the first 2 peas crop because I was traveling that weekend, but this time I have no plans (except for probably a few quick errands and the usual, such as making dinner). I plan to scrapbook all day Saturday and Sunday and check in here as much as I can.
I'm not going to "create" a kit for the first challenge because my main goal for the weekend will be to catch up on my story kits! Every month I try to watch the videos, plan and complete 3 projects, but I have a back log of about 5 kits at this point. My goal is to knock out at least two of those kits! I like to only work, at most, 3 kits behind because of my organization system so it's really been stressing me out to have so many piling up. Also, we are moving in April and I know that will just give me more backlog.
Just in case I am super productive (or not feeling the story kits) some other projects I will want to work on: + Finish up 2019 project life (I only have November & December left) + Finish my 2019 WITL (this is the longest I've ever taken to complete one of these... I love the finished product and the documenting week, but the repetitiveness of the album and the overwhelming number of words & photos make it one of my least favorite projects to complete. + Do the March prompt in OLW. + Catch up on my daughter's album... I need to do 8th grade graduation, the summer and the first half of freshman year. (some of the story kit projects will likely fit into here too)

I've got photos printed and sorted, working on DD college graduation book. So there are really 3 books, my book, DD's book and then a few pages for DS.
I have the DCWV grad stack with embellishments that I am mostly working from. Paper is chosen for first three pages. What is really killing me is what albums to use. I have some CM memories old albums, that the pages are a half inch to short that I really should use up. Don't know if I want to.
I think I will try and get a page count and then decide what to do.

All photos have been printed for a while just waiting to be scrapped. I plan on working on my Disney project from 2016. It spans two albums and I’m a little over 2/3 of the way through. With 3 weekend crops in March I’m hoping to finally finish it. The project already has its own tote with everything i need so first 2 prep challenges are done for me.

I'm in for Sunday and hopefully partially on Saturday. I have to print my pics and make a kit. I'm excited. I needed a kick in the pants. My cats destroyed my scrap room this week. They must have been chasing each other around the room, they knocked everything off my desk, stuff from on top of my Kallax cubes, stuff INSIDE the Kallax cubes, even my photo printer.
