I drive a 2008 Toyota Yaris. I absolutely love my car! Bought it new, and I'm planning on driving it for several more years. Nothing fancy about it at all. The windows open via hand crank (is that what it's called?). The trunk unlocks and locks by turning the key in the slot (which apparently is unheard of in newer cars). The CD player quit working years ago. A few months ago, the button for "aux" stopped working, as well. All I can listen to now is the radio. But I'm totally fine with that. I don't need or want a car with all the bells and whistles. It takes me where I want to go or need to go. It heats up in the winter and cools down in the summer. It gets great mileage. It's small and can fit in pretty much any parking space. When it's time to buy a new car, it most likely will be another Toyota Yaris.

I drive a 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid. I bought it when I retired and had every extra on it as I figured it would be the last car I ever bought. Even though we have made many long road trips in it, it only has 90,000 miles on it. (I didn't drive it for 6 months while I waited on the airbags to be replaced.)
I want to trade it for an Escape. Our other car is an Escape and I love the higher vehicle. Problem: I love the hybrid gas mileage for errands.

I currently drive a 2018 Subaru Outback. It’s the perfect car for me. My previous car was a Forester. We still own it.
My check drives a Toyota Camry Hybrid. Maybe a 2013? It’s a nice, smooth ride.

2019 Lexus RX 350L - big RX350. Driving is very dangerous around here, tons of spacey tourists and unlicensed drivers. I really wanted a Tesla, but too small.

I drive a black 2007 Toyota Solara convertible. I bought it about 7 months after DH passed away, so I've had it almost 6 years. With him gone and the kids grown, I didn't feel like driving trucks, SUVs or minivans anymore (which is what I had driven for about 25 years). The F150 that I was driving went to DS (and was replaced with a Ford Explorer Sport Trac when he was in a hit and run rollover in 2017). The Solara needs some work done on it, but I still love it. There's nothing quite like heading to the beach in a convertible!

I have a brand new Toyota Highlander. I love it. I have to have something that can go anywhere, hold 5 people with great backseat leg room, and lots of storage. It does.

I got a Subaru Outback about a month ago and really like it. I downsized from a Chevy Traverse and am really enjoying the smaller size. It's great in snow.

I’m not into cars at all. When I worked I had a BMW 3 series (provided by my employer) but now that I’m retired I drive a black Mazda CX3. It handles like my old car, is cheap on gas and I can fit it into the tightest parking spaces, one shot, and it’s 1000% times better in our tough winters than my old car was. It is teeny tiny and hardly has any trunk space, but I’ve managed.

I drive a Land Rover LR4, which I got two years ago when my Range Rover Sport was written off in an accident. I LOVE it. It’s big and powerful, but luxurious. And I can drive it anywhere, which is important because our roads are not great in the winter. We are a Rover family...my husband and daughter both have Range Rovers.

I drive an Acura TL (and LOVE it) but am getting the itch for an SUV.
I’ve always liked the BMW X5 or Volvo XC90. Maybe in a couple years.

A 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser. It gets terrible gas mileage but I only drive about 3.5 miles to work. It’s fully paid off and we take good care of it so I don’t see replacing it in our future.

A 2017 Nissan Rogue. I’ve been very happy with it and will likely get another when my lease is up next November.

I drive a Prius, because I have an hour commute. I love it, but do wish it was a bit more comfortable.

I have a new Forrester and I love it. I previously had a 2004 Corolla which I loved too, but I must admit the higher car, bright red color, the expanded storage and bells and whistles are amazing.

2019 Chevy Traverse. I love it!
Since my 18 & 20 y.o. “boys” will never drive, I needed a vehicle with a second row that is actually comfortable for adults for long rides in the car (16 hours to Florida once a year, etc). The 2nd row captain chairs are perfect. There is as much room there as in the front seat.
I also adore the rear camera mirror. We can have the back packed to the roof when we travel (or go to Ikea) and doesn’t impact the rear view mirror view at all.

2019 Cadillac XT5. I drove a Honda minivan for 15 years before i got the Cadillac. A whole lot has changed with cars in the past 15 years so having all the new car bells and whistles is VERY nice. I do sometimes miss having all the minivan room, but those moments are rare. I do love the smaller new car.

I drive a Corvette most of the time, but a Ford F-250 in the winter. Both are ridiculous, but my husband enjoys cars. He has a commuter sedan for work (about 60 miles away) so I end up with the flashy ones.

I have a 13 year old Toyota Yaris. I am itching to get an SUV so I can have a little more cargo room. But cars are so expensive anymore and mine has been paid off for a long time. I'm just not ready to commit to a car payment again. Plus the Yaris is really cheap to maintain and drives great. If only it had some cool tech features or a little more space. My plan is to get about 4-5 more years out of it (should be able to easily do that) since it has almost no trade in value and in that time save up a down payment for my eventual SUV.

I do sometimes miss having all the minivan room, but those moments are rare. I do love the smaller new car. The new safety bells and whistles make a *huge* difference in the driving experience. It is hard to imagine how quickly one becomes used to and dependent on them. I had to drive my mom’s old Explorer and it was rough not having the side view mirror warning lights when changing lanes, for example. And the top, rear and front view cameras for parking are so helpful.

I drive The Silver Slayer- 2012 Dodge Charger with ALL the bells and whistles. I bought it used with 10K miles on it in 2015. It now has 110K miles! I commute 52 miles round trip daily. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Slayer! I'd buy another in a heartbeat! Frequently I get it up to over 31 mpg!
Since DH rolled the Corvette (insurance totaled it) in January, he's been driving Slayer when he goes to trap meets that are over an hour away.
DH drives the Family Truckster- 2005 Toyota Sequoia Limited with all the bells and whistles bought brand new. It gets really crappy gas mileage (16 mpg) but we have a boat that we tow in the summer so we needed something that has power.
We have 2 other trucks that aren't driven much. "Big Red"- 1995 Toyota T-100 that is a construction truck and "Dream-Sicle" an orange and white 1973 Dodge W-100 that is on a non-op. At one point the W-100 was fully restored but now it's parked on the side of the house getting no love.

Car-free public transport gal here. But when I do borrow a car, it's almost always the Smart Fortwo. No shame in my occasional car game.

I have a 2005 Suburban! It gets horrible gas mileage and whenever I have to take it to the mechanic I fear it could be the last time but I freaking love that car and plan to drive it until it falls apart!!
