CNN.... ”President Trump has told aides he wants fewer people working for him in the White House and only loyalists installed in key administration positions, several people familiar with the matter say.” just one more step in his slow march towards authoritarian rule. Happily aided and abetted by his Trumpist base, might I add... they won't get a clue till it's waaaay too late. (if they do at all, that is.)

The idiot... “Sotomayor accuses GOP appointed Justices of being biased in favor of Trump.” @ingrahamangle @foxnews This is a terrible thing to say. Trying to “shame” some into voting her way? She never criticized Justice Ginsberg when she called me a “faker”. Both should recuse themselves..” ”on all Trump, or Trump related, matters! While “elections have consequences”, I only ask for fairness, especially when it comes to decisions made by the United States Supreme Court!” Easy enough! ACA, Obama care etc, in fact all Obama laws, rules, regulations, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Thomas. Alito, should recuse themselves too..... So much for an independent court! Thank donny dimwit!

”Mitch McConnell's desk has become a legislative graveyard for 275+ bills passed by House Democrats. Now, after months of legislative inactivity, McConnell has scheduled votes on two abortion-related bills in an attempt to energize social conservatives.”
Its this kind of stuff is why not one single Republican should receive a vote this election. Elected officials need to be taught a lesson that this stuff is not OK. And the only to do it is through the ballot box.

”Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf simply cannot answer a series of questions on coronavirus from @senjohnkennedy. He can't say how many surgical masks are needed, why he doesn't have the same answer as others on a vaccine. "You're supposed to keep us safe."
And we have here another example of trump only using the best people in these jobs. Most of them are “acting” in their position.

Have we talked about how Ginny Thomas (Clarence's wife) is helping to lead the "purge?" She's really working on getting Ben that $31,000 dining set for his office so she is punishing the workers!

And the only to do it is through the ballot box. Agreed. However may they please not overdo the lesson. Democrats must be able to be reasonably moderate otherwise each succeeding administration will be worse and more so!

Why do men running for president get to run on conviction with little to zero details but the women have to provide every plan with the math done and checked twice?”
Good question.

No, I was thinking the same thing. Are they going to need to “divert” some of those corona virus funds to build his wall? Would not surprise me one bit. I was thinking more along the lines that dimwit might think the wall would stop the virus.... although your thoughts are more on mark! Well known TrumpFact®

linkPolitiFact... ”NEW: Polls show that Democrats strongly support key Bernie Sanders policies, and all Americans back most of them by more modest margins. But support in polls drops when projected costs are raised. bit.ly/2TdrrrU” From the article.. ”Our ruling Buttigieg said that Sanders would "go beyond reform and reorder the economy in ways most Democrats — let alone most Americans — don’t support." In reality, polling consistently shows that most Democrats do approve of key parts of Sanders’ economic agenda, including single-payer health care, the Green New Deal, tuition-free college, student debt forgiveness, a $15 minimum wage, breaking up big banks, and paid family leave. And for each of those issues except single-payer health care, a more modest percentage of all Americans — but still a majority — signal their support. It’s important to note, however, that support levels by all Americans drop significantly once voters are informed about the policies’ costs, often to majority disapproval. And on health care policy, Buttigieg’s plan — the public option to buy into Medicare — is more popular than Sanders’ single-payer proposal is, both among all voters and among Democrats. We rate the statement Mostly False.” This fact check was for something Pete Buttigieg said. The question that was not asked in the polls used in this fact check was “Would you still support these programs if you had to pay more in taxes?” I would be interested in the level of support for these programs among Democrats if they found out they were paying for them along with the corporations and 1%ers. Its becoming clearer that when Sanders says he wants this country to be like Norway, that also includes anyone making over $29,000 will pay more in taxes.

“Bernie Sanders’ 1972 Essay on Rape” - SNOPES Bette Midler ”I MAY HURL....looks like he, #Harvey and #Trump are all cut from the same misogynistic cloth.” SNOPES. link
She should apologize. He did a poor job of pointing out terrible gender stereotypes. But to say he’s just like a literal convicted rapist because of it only makes her look delusional. Regardless of what he meant it didn’t come out that way and that is a problem. From Snopes.. ”The essay by the Vermont senator isn’t long — only a page. The bit about rape comes at the very beginning, as does some not-totally-safe-for-work language: A man goes home and masturbates his typical fantasy. A woman on her knees, a woman tied up, a woman abused.
A woman enjoys intercourse with her man — as she fantasizes being raped by 3 men simultaneously.
The man and woman get dressed up on Sunday — and go to Church, or maybe to their ‘revolutionary’ political meeting.Have you ever looked at the Stag, Man, Hero, Tough magazines on the shelf of your local bookstore? Do you know why the newspaper with the articles like ‘Girl 12 raped by 14 men’ sell so well? To what in us are they appealing? Sanders Sanders then goes on to explain his ideas about gender roles and eventually gets at a sharper point — that traditional gender roles help create troubling dynamics in men’s and women’s sex lives. “Many women seem to be walking a tightrope,” he writes, as their “qualities of love, openness, and gentleness were too deeply enmeshed with qualities of dependency, subservience, and masochism.” One way to read the essay is that Sanders was doing (in a supremely ham-handed way) what journalists do every day: draw the reader in with an attention-getting lede, then get to the meat of the article in the middle. You can draw divergent conclusions from the article itself. On the one hand, he’s talking about liberating people from harmful gender norms. On the other, with his nameless hypothetical “man-and-woman” characters, he also seems to imply that men fantasize about raping women or that women fantasize about being raped.CNN also covered the controversial essay in a piece that quoted Sanders’ campaign spokesman describing it as “stupid” and a “dumb attempt at dark satire”: Michael Briggs, Sanders’ campaign spokesman, said the article was a “dumb attempt at dark satire in an alternative publication” that “in no way reflects his views or record on women. It was intended to attack gender stereotypes of the ’70s, but it looks as stupid today as it was then.”

Bill Kristol...
”For Sanders to do as well as a moderate Democrat against Trump...his nomination would need to boost turnout of young left-leaning voters enormously...There are good reasons to doubt Sanders’s nomination would produce a youth turnout surge this large.”
Well one reason there might not be the youth turnout at least here in CA. It seems Bernie Bros that are independents are having a hard time figuring out how to register to vote for Sanders.
The other day Sanders was grousing it was too hard and it was all California officials fault.
He groused about it in 2016 so I decided to see just how hard was it for a “No preference” voter to get a Democratic ballot. So I went on line and it took me all of 5 minutes to figure out what I needed to do.
What I know about computers and how to navigate them you could put on the head of a pin. Last year I worked from home for my old employer. I got a company laptop and had IT on speed dial. It was a good week if I didn’t have to call IT.
So if I could figure it out, it should be a slam dunk for these young supporters. Especially since CA has been advertising for weeks what one needed to do to vote in the CA primary next week.

trump version
Sarah Matthews - trump campaign deputy press secretary
”Here's what you WON’T hear at the #DemDebate in Charleston tonight: Under @realdonaldtrump, South Carolina has an unemployment rate of 2.3% — the lowest rate in the country! Under Obama/Biden, the average unemployment rate was 8.4%. 2020 Dems would reverse this success!”
The reality..
Daniel Dale...
”More White House fun with Obama statistics:
The South Carolina unemployment rate when Obama took office during the recession of 2009 was 9.8%. It peaked at 11.7% in 2010. Then it declined all the way to 4.6% before Obama left office. The average is high because it started high.”

ABC News... ”Federal Judge Amy Berman Jackson expresses concern for safety of a juror from Roger Stone’s trial after Pres. Trump repeatedly accused her of being biased.” i amazes me how those in Washington, primarily Republicans, think it is ok to harass and appear to threaten a PRIVATE citizen who is doing his/her civic duty, required by law, by serving on a jury. Jackson has said that the hearings will be closed, names are not to be released, not even the juror numbers are to be released.

They could learn that from dt, once he gets what he wants into his head, it is repeat repeat repeat until his base only knows what he says over and over again!

linkPolitiFact.. “Sanders - A recent study) said ‘Medicare for All’ will lower health care costs in this country by $450 billion a year and save the lives of 68,000 people who would otherwise have died.”The ruling to the above claim..l ”Our ruling Sanders said a recent study suggested Medicare for All would save $450 billion annually and saves 68,000 lives. That study does exist. And it cites some evidence. But many of its assumptions are flawed, and experts uniformly told us it overestimates the potential savings. It cherry-picks data in calculating mortality effects. This statement has some truth, but ignores context that would create a dramatically different impression. We rate it Mostly False.
