His head literally hits the pillow, and he’s out.

My husband 100%. In bed, in a chair, on a plane... And mine sleeps through everything. Babies crying, a car back firing, people yelling in the hallway on a cruise, etc.
I love it when he complains about waking up to go pee. Yes, and then you go right back to sleep.

I don't know! Every single night I feel like I'm learning how to fall asleep all over again.

Same thing at our house. I always think they just don't have thoughts in there. Because that is why I take so long to fall asleep, I have stuff to think about.

Yes! I just looked over at my husband who was playing a game on his phone just a moment ago. There are still game noises coming from the phone and he’s sound asleep.

I figure it’s because I do all the stress and worry stuff for both of us. I seriously feel resentment over it sometimes - he knows that though. Then he starts to snore...

Same here with my boyfriend. Plus he can wake up, have a 5 minute conversation with me, then go back to sleep. So frustrating (because that’s definitely not how I operate).

My dh is this way as well. However, I’m not far behind him! I usually fall asleep less than 5 minutes after turning out the light. I know I’m lucky and many, many people have trouble falling and staying asleep.

Mine too. He can go upstairs to bed while I let out the dogs, brush his teeth, get in bed and by the time I get up there no more than 15 minutes later, he’s already out cold. 45 minutes after that, I’m still flopping around trying to get comfortable. It sucks.

That’s me! I’m asleep a few minutes after my head hits the pillow. I’ve always been a good sleeper. I sleep right through the night until the alarm goes off. My boyfriend on the other hand has a horrible time falling and staying asleep. He often needs to take a sleeping pill.

Mine not only falls asleep instantaneously, he often complains about what a poor night’s sleep he had - after I’ve been awake, trying to sleep hours, listening to him snore continually all night long. I wish I could have such a bad night of sleeping.

Same here. Tonight dh was asleep in less than five minutes. And of course he is snoring loudly so there is little hope for me.

My DH does the same thing, and start snoring at the same time. Unfortunately he wakes up after a few hours and can’t go back to sleep.
I’m the opposite. It takes me a while to fall asleep, but then I’m out for the night.

Well mine used to take ambien and now takes trazodone, but even when he didn't he fell asleep withing minutes.
I do better with my routine, but I have to listen to a TV show on my tablet because it stops my brain. I can't be thinking and making lists and worrying when my brain is busy listening

I usually fall asleep super quick. I turn on a podcast and I'm out in minutes. However, I wake up a few hours later and toss and turn for the rest of the night.

Mine falls asleep within seconds on the living room floor when I'm trying to watch a show with him. But once he's in bed he claims that he tosses and turns. I usually go to bed later than he does and he's always fast asleep and snoring by then. Me, on the other hand. I'm out within a minute of getting into bed. I'm kind of a pro at falling asleep.

We just climbed into bed 3 minutes ago, and he is already snoring.
He sleeps thru all sorts of stuff, but when Ds was a baby, he snapped awake every time that kid made a sound. On the rare occasions Ds actually woke and cried, Dh was right there soothing him. And I slept. Best gift ever.

Dh & I shared a room with dd (18) on a trip recently so she just discovered this about her dad. The look on her face was priceless! She was astonished (& jealous!)

I generally fall asleep pretty fast, every now and then it takes me longer, but on the whole I'd say I'm asleep within 5 mins.

I’m the same way and I have no idea! I literally can fall asleep anytime anywhere. I’m thankful because I need 8 hours of sleep and am not a night owl. If I can’t sleep I’ll take one melatonin and it knocks me out!

I’m a champion sleeper. I lay down, fall asleep within minutes, sleep through the night, and wake up refreshed usually prior to the alarm going off. I almost never wake up at all during the night and hardly ever have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. People who post about insomnia terrify me. I’d be wrecked if I were an insomniac.
My husband falls asleep easily (including sitting straight up in his chair), but doesn’t sleep nearly as restfully as I do. It drives him nuts that he can get up during the night and I sleep right through it. I sleep through most of his snoring, too. It only wakes me when he’s congested and it gets louder then.

My husband and I are the exact opposite and it drives him nuts. I get in bed, put on my CPAP, hook up a podcast on my bluetooth eye mask (love this thing) and I'm out five minutes later. My DD came in our house about 10:30 the other night to get some laundry. I guess my dog started barking and woke up my DH. He was awake most of the night after that. I didn't hear a thing. I liken it to that my brain is so busy during the day that it's like forced to rest at night. I get to a point where I just can't keep my eyes open. I literally *can't* function when I'm tired. I have an automatic shut off. I am pretty consistently asleep between 9-9:30 and up around 5:30. And I don't nap either.
