I started pulling DS's childhood sports photos out of the cardboard "frames". They are so thick, they take up extra space. I'm adhereing them to 8.5x11 cardstcock and putting them in an album.

I ended up pulling out two kits I bought at the scrapbook expo and read the directions. They are a full page of tiny print. Kind of crazy how detailed they are. I have decided one will be created with a different line of paper. I like the theme of the kit, but I am not a fan of the paper.

I downloaded my Jan/Feb photos from my phone to the computer, sorted into folders, ordered prints, and uploaded some to FB so they'll show up in my memories. Also ordered photo for me, my kids, and my sister from an old photo of my dad from 1944 - just before he went over on D-Day, he's wearing his army kilt.

I ordered my February photos, but they probably won't be here by the pea scrap weekend.
But i also ordered a free 8x10 from Walgreens that I'll pick up this week & scrap this pea weekend.

I worked a lot this weekend on getting my scrap area orgainzied for the March virtual scrap. Picking papers and embellishments ahead of time is HARD! But I think it will be worth it because 1) I am going through my stuff, so it is good to know what I really have and 2) It is forcing me to use stuff I normally just shove to the back of the bin or whatever...or I am tempted to just use whatever is newest. This is making me be really intentional about my choices. That word is so loaded for me now....

I’ve been out of work for almost three weeks and keep saying I need to order pictures. I will make it my goal for today. I need to check to see when I ordered them last so I don’t duplicate them. I print some at home on my PM400 but don’t like printing all of them. I have plenty of old pictures to scrap this weekend during the crop.
I have been scrapbooking almost every day and have a stack of layouts that need to be put into albums.

Last evening I caught up on printing photos from recent weeks and broke down and ordered some wedding photos of DS and DIL. I had been waiting for their friend who took photos and I'm tired of waiting. It's only been 3 weeks but it's not like he's a pro. He is a friend who brought his camera and told me he would send me the photos. I hate waiting for other people to give me photos!
I have 3 Saturday crops this month and I will continue working on current photos from Christmas on. There are at least 500 photos to do!
My son moved out of state yesterday and left behind quite a bit of his stuff, so my plan to use that room as a staging room to empty my scrapbook room into it and completely organize back into a functional space is delayed until I can box up what he left. Our plan is to take some of it out to him in a few weeks. The project of the scrapbook room is completely overwhelming anyway so I really don't mind sitting on that for awhile.

I’ve scanned and printed out travel photos from the 90s that I want to scrap. Planning to do a few pages this weekend at the crop so better sort out some kits to use.

I stopped at JoAnn's again today, but I limited myself to just 6 sheets of clearance paper. I was good.

So much scrappy activity so early in the month!
I cleaned out a corner of the bedroom where a LOT of stuff had been dumped when I replaced my computer. Have sorted the scrappy supplies and stored them in the cupboards where they belong. And I made one birthday card. Still need to put my February pages into albums.
Looking through sketches I could possibly use for this next Sketchy Saturday. Will need to get a LO done for that by Friday evening.
Hoping to take part in the 2PR MEGA online crop this upcoming weekend, and thinking I will be doing hockey pages for my dgk's. Nine of them are in hockey and so far, I have completed just two LO's for ONE of them, so my work is cut out for me, I think! One of the little guys told me he "expects to see" his hockey pages completed by the time he comes back to the farm on March 20th. That might be a problem b/c his mom has not yet received the pic's taken by the team photographer, but I certainly have enough photos to do at least one double pager for him, probably two if you include the tourney he invited me to in January.

I ordered 230 pictures from Amazon yesterday! I have plenty of other pictures to scrapbook but wanted to be caught up on my printing. I do print at home as well.
I used my Felicity Jane kit budget to buy Cocoa Vanilla Bohemian Dreams and some cut files (cut out, I don’t have a machine to cut them). I’m anxious to scrapbook with you all this weekend.

Picked up my free 8x10! Guys, I'm so excited to scrap it this weekend. It's my parents all dressed up, looking so fancy & special!!
And I had the very best luck today at Target.
I've been wanting a hexagon punch for months.
Months!
I've been putting them in & taking them out of online carts.
I had priced it at the Target near work months ago, and it was $14.99 full price. Picked it up, but put it back. Figured I'd wait.
Today I went in for something else, and figured I'd check on "my" hexagon punch.
Holy cow!
It's clearanced!
Holy cow!
It's $4.98!
You better believe today was the day I brought home my EK Success hexagon punch. 😀

LavenderLayoutLady congrats on the bargain punch at Target! Back in November I signed up for a Red Card during a promotion and received a $40 coupon from Target. I totally forgot about it until January 31... I went shopping and got the hexagon punch and several other things and paid $1 and some change.

I’m going to a crop on March 21st. I’m want to try & finish an album on a trip I took when I was 17. I’ve been working on it off & on for three years now. It’s just time for it to be done! I decided to do the good old CM power layouts. This way there’s a chance I might actually finish it.

I was in the process of moving my scrapbook room from our dining room (where kids dumped junk all over my table) to my bedroom, when DH decided to remodel one of our bathrooms. So I've had a bathroom vanity, a mirror, a light fixture, and tools in front of my closet (where I put my stuff) since January. Today I got tired of not being able to scrap, set up a card table on the other side of the room, and got the basics out of my closet. I might actually get to scrapbook tomorrow... When I complained to DH the other day that I wanted to scrap but couldn't, he snorted and said I should take the extra time to read more books... He's going to be thrilled when he gets home

Good job completing the album, myboysnme. And it sounds like you will have lots of fun taking photos of the dress shopping and will get to scrapbook a whole new celebration in August!

I have been having so much fun with my vintage collaging and gluebook that I haven’t gotten back into scrapping yet. I have made a few cards and started reorganizing and purging my scrap area too.
