RedSquirrelUK- Thanks for the welcome! I hope to be around a little more often. I just ordered some pp from Scrapbook dot com for some Mother's Day cards. I got a Kaisercraft kit and a few sheets of Simple Stories collections.I hope to have fun with all this paper goodness. jeremysgirl- What a beautiful afghan! How long did it take? Great job! mnmloveli- Thanks for sharing that video of the boy who crochets! That was awesome how it transformed his life and his families life too. Wow! fredfreddy44- Yes, you have been having fun. The pottery looks like that was so relaxing and fun. I would like to take a class with clay. How is the garden coming along? betty- Those rocks are so cool! I know it must of been fun hiding them for people to find with joy. How did you start? sueg- Those sweaters are so pretty and you did an excellent job! Beautiful! Julie W- What a pretty poncho! Very pretty! shelledpea- I love the colors of your afghan. Great job!

I have no idea why I decided to make this enormous ice dragon. He’s huge! I need to add chains to his wrists and ankles to attach him like a backpack.

It does look similar, I agree wellway . They are both lovely. I really like the border on the Fruit Garden and the choice of colours speaks to me too. So, are you tempted to get the kit? If so, which colourway?

It’s huge! And it’s gorgeous. Are you keeping it jeremysgirl? Yes this one is for me. I like to sleep with a granny. And my current one is twelve years old and has developed a hole. That one will go in our camper and this will be my new one.

If so, which colourway? I am surprising myself by saying I have too much on at the moment so I'm not planning on getting the kit. I prefer the yellow colourway. I'm going to stop looking at it!

Like you, I have lots to do but I think I'll check it out and maybe print out the pattern later in the year so if I want to give it a go in a few years I will have it. I'm curious about the yarn selection.

Wow, I don't post in these threads as I'm not that crafty (I dabble in scrapbooking/card making occasionally) but I love to pop in and see all the awesome things the peas make! You are all very talented!
Jeremysgirl. I really love your afghan. Gorgeous!

Here is my mini room box nursery in 1.12th scale. A mixture of handmade and purchased. Today I finished the Suffolk Puff quilt. My poor eyes need a rest. The final curtains and wallpaper for the top half of the room are still to be decided and will be buying two battery lights when funds permit. Sorry for the bad quality of the photos, I wish I was a better photographer.

I stitched the image on this card for my husband's 50th birthday a couple of weeks ago. He started dressing more elegantly a couple of years ago, more suits, hats, overcoat, lots of them vintage...so when I found this image, i thought it was just perfect. It's from the Feb 2020 issue of Cross Stitch Crazy magazine

phoenixcov, I love your rooms and I really admire your skill at creating such amazing things on such a small scale. That baby quilt is beautiful - you have a lot of patience!

Think crafts, not corona!!! I'm just kidding, but seriously. I wanted to bump this thread to the first page so we can interject some happy into our day.
What's on your hooks/needles yarn crafters? I am waiting very impatiently for my Wool Warehouse order to come. I plan on Hotel of Bees with the new Stylecraft Naturals Yarn. Until that time, I'm still plugging away at the Palmyra Diamonds wrap. I'm not in love with it. But I've convinced myself to finish. What's everyone else's plans?

Just made a pet bed from a jumper that my Mister threw out. It is way to big for Asha (my Siamese cat) so going to give to a friend with two Norfolk Terriers. They can decide who wants to claim it between themselves. Instructions on U tube and very quick and fun to make.

It’s not that it is time consuming but I’ve been tied up with a tax return and and just been too tired to do much of it. I am not looking forward to the amount of blocking it appears to need but I’m really loving the stitches.

But it looks cozy.
