I saw it mentioned on either FB or Instagram that there would be a March sale. Anyone know anything about it? I can't find any information now.

I don’t remember seeing anything on IG. I’m not on Facebook so maybe it was there.

It was instagram, and I'm wondering about it too. In this post, she mentioned she would be back Monday with new products and the details to a Spring Sale. Well it's Tuesday and I haven't seen any details.
eta: sorry I don't know how to link the picture of the instagram post.

I think I'll be outspending my mortgage payment on goodies this month...but hey, all in the name of national craft month, right? Girl! Whatcha been buying? All I have gotten this month is the $5 Ali stamp. What deals am I missing out on? Probably nothing too exciting, lol. I bought about $35 in old style Dylutions paint from Joann.com (I really hope TM or one of the discount expo shops get them) to stock up on favorite colors and try a few others they had in stock.
I grabbed 6 or 7 other stamps in addition to the $5 one from the Ali sale. Even on sale, it adds up fast on her site. I don't usually spend $12 per stamp set, but I really liked a few of them and they will be pricier during the revisited sale (unless she does another $6 sale...the last time she had one I missed it until almost everything was gone).
I also want to sign up with Stampin' Up because I want to get some inks and add to my refill stash (I get a few more every time I sign up). I've been working on my order for a while. I finally got it all set up only to discover you can't add the promotional codes for paper pumpkin to your order (I didn't buy the bonus stamp set month last year and regret it, so I want to make sure I get it this year).
Then today Concord and 9th finally updated the details for their sale and most of their site is going to be discounted...it goes live on the 9th. They have the number of items in each category from 20-70% off. I am hoping for a couple of turnabouts that I was going to get when they did a sale a few months ago but I struggle to commit and didn't realize it ended at 9am instead of the end of the day and missed them as a result.
That doesn't equal my mortgage, but it's only the 3rd and a lot of good stores are putting on sales. In addition to those, there is this thread, lol. I suspect Elle's Studio will have her spring sale either late this month or early next month, too. Plus, I have to decide if I'm going to go to the expo...if so, I'll be booking that stuff this month as well. Not sure if I want to do the make and takes with everyone on edge about the virus (lots of people in close proximity doesn't bode well for me...I already spend November to January sick almost every year thanks to my kids) and none of the classes are calling to me. I wanted something mixed mediaesque that would be out of my comfort zone, but I'm not really seeing anything up my alley. Beyond that, I bet more will come being craft month and all.

And she did add product to the store Monday including digital kits, but no word of the sale. So now I'm guessing those products won't be part of the sale? I can't imagine too many people being happy to have paid full price only to have those things go on sale a few days later.

It's like my Christmas, haha. I can't wait to see what concord puts up for sale!

I’m not her but I’ll share what I bought-my bind it all thingy that hasn’t arrived, 30 sheets of edger stickers from the planner society, and 7 (yikes, 7!!!) kits from the April release at cocoa daisy. It’s rainbows and I had to have it all. Then there was a leap day sale at cocoa daisy and I got a planner blind box and sticker grab bag and pen grab bag. So yeah. I’m broke. Lol

Yeah, I am thinking digitals don't usually go on sale and the two 'kits' she put out this month was just older product put in new, DT curated kits. So I doubt they go on sale. I am expecting just the stuff in the last call, honestly. Which is fine - but some of that stuff is really old and needs to be marked down.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I already had all the stuff in the curated kits since I bought almost all of the kits last year. I quit my sub in November. I agree, I think she needs to have sales more often.
Julie, wow 7 kits at CD! It is a beautiful month, hope you enjoy them all! I ended up re-subbing to the planner add on, I'm already in 2 other kits plus the pocket cards add-on.

I already sub to the weeks sticker kit, the pocket kit, and the tn kit. I added the planner kit before reveal so I wouldn’t miss out. Then after reveal I may have went more overboard. Lol. But it’s all stuff I will use. I almost exclusively shop at CD now and actually use stuff instead of hoarding it. I’ve almost completely destashed all of my other stuff. The Cd designs are really “me”, more so than any other company.

I've been with cd for over 3 years and I haven't been buying scrapbook stuff this year, and mostly towards the end of last year outside of CD. So it's pretty much the only place I get scrapbooking stuff now too. I think everything else in the scrapbook world looks too similar release after release. I like that CD changes it up. I'm currently in the a5 planner main kit, the TN kit with pocket cards added on, and the planner add on kit. Some months I add other things. I loved March so much and added the Classified planner for that one. I have just loved everything she has done this year, and it also seems like the perfect amount of product. Even though I do still scrap pocket page and 12x12, I'm actually starting to prefer the smaller size 6x8 papers.

I don't purchase from (or even check) felicity jane every month, but typically only go check it out when I see something on Instagram of interest. This month I really liked the daily stamp she sneaked but I checked on the first and then realized she doesn't release if it's a Sunday and then I forgot about it until today. It took me more than 5 minutes of poking around her website to find the new stuff and then I realized it's only 3 stamp sets and the one I was originally interested in is sold out. What happened to her monthly kits? She still offers a subscription right? And why is it that I can't find anything on her site? That's fine that she wants to name kits after girls or whatever, but label them by month/year also so I have an idea of if I'm looking at the most recent kit or not! It shouldn't be this difficult to buy stuff...

I agree about her site being difficult to navigate. I don't know if I'll even shop the sale. It depends on the discount and what she's going to charge for shipping. I already have a lot of her stuff and I'd like the new papers from this year maybe. I also love her chipboard alphas so I'd check those out if they were a good price.

I did hear that on these boards about the Coronavirus, but why isn't there any announcement in the shop? Also, her stamps say made in USA so I'm not sure how the Coronavirus could be an issue. I definitely wouldn't fault her if that is truly an issue, but there should be more transparency about it and when you visit her website the first thing you should see is the new kit or explanation why the next kit is missing. And if she's just releasing stamps, they should be readily available when you visit her website and not buried. And I saw the one was pre-order... so was the other one? Then why is it sold out?

Yes, I agree completely. I have been a subscriber of hers off and on for a few years and I feel like she has never been great with communication! There were many times I was disappointed with the lack of communication. I definitely believe that customers should not have to hunt all over for information. And I don't understand the delay either, why are the stamps delayed if they are made in USA?
Well looks like today all 3 are pre-order. Yesterday when I checked the Typewriter alphabet and the months/days of the week were both pre-order and the other one that she showed on instagram was sold out.

To be fair, perhaps not every component of even a stamp set is made stateside. It could be the packaging or the cardstock insert on her end or even a delay in their producer acquiring their raw materials which could very well be imported even if it is used in the USA.

If that is the case, it would be illegal for her to label it as made in the USA. There are strict requirements under US law for when you can label something as made in the USA. If only part of it is made in the USA then you need to say so. For example, if the stamp was made in the USA but the photopolymer was imported then she is required to label it something along the lines of "made in the USA of imported parts."

www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/complying-made-usa-standard Always love your legal insights, lasteve1! I have little doubt that there is quite a bit of transgression with indie scrap brands (not saying that is necessarily the case here). I mean, we've all seen the Harry Potter products that are in clear copyright violation...

scrapaddict702 I hope my response didn't come off as rude... I can't turn the lawyer in me off sleepingbooty I'm happy you appreciate it! And I almost added a note at the end about how the small scrap brands tend to play fast & loose with the law so it could actually be the case that part of it is imported. Regardless, it still doesn't explain why there hasn't been any real explanation provided... I hope something was sent to subscribers at least! kstampin that makes a little more sense... maybe the pre-order is to do a second run because the first batch sold out quicker than expected?
