Last night we finished a 4-part miniseries called Unorthodox on Netflix.
"Unorthodox is a German-American drama web television miniseries that debuted on Netflix on 26 March 2020. The first Netflix series to be primarily in Yiddish, it is inspired by Deborah Feldman's 2012 autobiography, Unorthodox: The Scandalous Rejection of My Hasidic Roots."
It was quite interesting and we both enjoyed it.

We’ve watched a good part of The Haunting of Bly Manor and it’s incredibly boring and repetitive. Not sure what episode we got to, but we don’t intend to stick it out. A huge yawn; I fell asleep more than once.

I binged Emily in Paris in a couple days. I thought Lily Collins was just adorable. I am not the target audience, but I like Darren Starr shows so I knew it would be a fun binge. I also loved the on location shots. I thought Emily in Paris was a cute, lighthearted show! I'd watch a second season!

I only got thru 6 episodes. It just wasn’t holding my interest. Thanks, I have a feeling we won't be watching all the seasons. I need to find something else to replace it! I know you like British dramas. I’ve just watched two new BBC dramas that you might like. Both are family style dramas. One is called Us and the other is called Life. Life was written by the same person as Doctor Foster and one of the characters appears in both shows.

I’ll watch more seasons if they make more. Since Labor Day weekend, I watched Shameless, Schitt’s Creek, Ratched and Emily in Paris. I also watched the American Murder about Chris Watts. I watch the Great British Baking Show each week as well. Next, I want to watch season 3 of Ozark, but I need to watch some of season 2 to remember what all was going on.

Not a new show, but I recently discovered Glow on Netflix. I am loving it! Fair mix of comedy and drama, about a women’s wrestling show.

Love Glow, just be aware they were filming what was supposed to be the last season when Netflix cancelled it. Super bummer it doesn’t get a proper wrap up. I haven’t finished the last season that there is, so I don’t know how it ends, but I do know they weren’t expecting it to end when it did.

DH and I usually have a tough time finding shows we both enjoy. We have watched 7 of the 10 episodes of AWAY and we both love it!

I'm late to the show, but we are really enjoying Endeavor. They did a great job with this story. I just love British mysteries on TV -- the actors are all so normal looking.

This is on Apple TV -Ted Lasso is fantastic! My husband and I kept saying “one more”-just enjoyed it so much. Thanks so much for this recommendation! Watched almost all of it last night, just couldn't stop. Feel good at its best.

Currently watching Upload on Prime. I'm really liking it. Something totally different. Some days, like today, I'm doing non-stop data entry work so I'm on episode 6 already. Perfect show for that.

If you love travel and food, Somebody Feed Phil, on Netflix, is a wonderful documentary series.

I love it when DH and I find a series we can both get in to. We have not long finished Justified which we loved - I am so missing the character Boyd - and we are now on series two of Bosch. Really got in to that after one episode too.

I finished The Haunting of Bly Manor last night and thought it was excellent, just the right amount of scary without being gory or over the top.

I’ve watched ( and really enjoyed ) Last Tango in Halifax on Netflix. 3 seasons. Apparently there are more seasons on PBS. Does anyone here know how I keep watching somehow ? I’ve checked my Hulu and it’s not there at all. Thanks.

Not a Netflix or Prime show, but gymnastics fans check out Defying Gravity: The Untold Story of Women’s Gymnastics on YouTube. It’s 6 parts and I’m not done, but really enjoying the athletes they are portraying. I’m guessing this was filmed to sync with the Olympics, but if you’ve enjoyed this sport over the years, check it out.

We started Absentia on Prime the other night and have watched 3 episodes. Like it well enough but don't [img src="[img src=" "]"] it. Anyone else watch it? I only got thru 6 episodes. It just wasn’t holding my interest. Well, we lasted until the 3rd or 4th episode of season 2 when DH and I looked at each other and said *I'm done* in unison! I then read the synopsis' of the remaining episodes for season 2 and we are so glad we made the decision to quit. We really enjoyed most of the first season but the second season got beyond ridiculous. Last night we watched Jerry Seinfeld's latest one-hour stand-up comedy routine Jerry Seinfeld- 23 Hours to Kill on Netflix. If you like Seinfeld, you'll like the show. His bit about buffets was our favorite. We are also watching Stateless, a 6-part drama about refugees in Australia. Cate Blanchett plays a supporting character. We recently finished watching the latest season of Last Tango in Halifax and are very sad that it is over. The final episode made it look like it would not be coming back with future seasons. quinlove, it was on our local PBS station.

Thanks cadoodlebug. I downloaded the pbs app. So excited to watch more. This season starts 7 years after Alan and Celia reunited! It's so much fun to see Calamity and Flora as kids!

Not sure if it's on Netflix in the USA, but I've been watching Criminal (UK version - there's also French/German/Spanish versions which I might try) it's is a (fictional) series and each episode is police interrogation
It's really compelling and because each episode is stand alone it's good one to fill in 45min and not have to think about previous characters/plot etc

I am so incredibly late to the game, but I am really enjoying Schitt’s Creek, I watched 3-4 episodes a couple of years ago and thought it wasn’t for me. Started it again 10 days or 2 weeks ago and am over halfway through S2. I love each and every character and cannot pick a favorite. Do you/did you have one?
