The first 2 seasons of Ink Master (reality competition show about tattoo artists) are on Netflix.
I started watching with my kids around Season 5 or 6, so enjoyed seeing these first couple seasons and hope they add more.

I finished Firefly Lane tonight (Netflix). I read the book when it came out so it’s been awhile that I only remember some plot points, and I think in essence it captured the spirit of the book. But thinking about it more, there were some major differences including the ending which I’ll just say leaves on a cliffhanger. I’m not really a Katherine Heigl fan and this didn’t change my mind, but I thought the actresses that played the younger girls were really good and Sarah Chalke is really endearing as the adult Kate. The story jumps around quite a bit unlike the book which was a linear story and I felt that it kind of took you out of the moments too quickly. Overall, I enjoyed it. Hoping for a second season. I finished, enjoyed and hope for a second season, too. Although the jumping around didn't bother me (didn't read the book) I did wonder if the success of This Is Us had anything to do with that as that is what it kind of reminded me of. I'm up to episode 6, and I am loving it. The jumping around doesn't bother me at all, it's something I really liked about 'This Is Us'. And now that finaledition mentioned that the book is linear, it also makes me wonder whether they decided to jump around due to the success of 'This Is Us'. I'm also not a fan of Katherine Heigl (that stupid movie 'Knocked Up' put me right off her and Seth whatshisname). But I actually don't mind her in this show. I love the teenage Tully, and it's weird to watch - she looks just like my son's girlfriend from when he was 14. Gorgeous!

I watched Firefly Lane last week. It was ok. There’s a third installment of To All The Boys I Loved Before. Better than the 2nd one but the first one is still the best.
I started behind her eyes last night and I’m really enjoying it.

Who's watching Clarice? I watched the first two episodes and while it didn't blow me away, I didn't start doing other things or turn it off either. It's not as arty/odd as Hannibal was but the storylines haven't been particularly good so far...so I'm hoping that improves. At this point I feel like I'll keep watching. A friend suggested I watch Behind Her Eyes, but it sounded a bit weird...is it one of those odd/disjointed shows? For those watching, the female lead is Bono's daughter (U2)
I'm on my final season of my ER re-watch (331 episodes!) and I've really enjoyed it. I also started re-watching Nip/Tuck, I'd forgotten how 'out there' it was. I'm enjoying some Julian McMahon eye candy along the way.

I like it so far, just not sure if the show is going to last the long haul. I hope the storylines get better, but I do find it interesting to see the dynamics of how she is treated after being the celebrity agent. I'll keep watching.

Somebody on Reddit described what we felt perfectly: “Almost halfway through I paused the movie to get a snack and told my wife, “This movie is really good.” Less than a half hour later I turn to her and dejectedly said, “This movie sucks.” Haven’t had this kind of 180 watching a movie in a long time.” I think I felt the same way as well, it did take a bit of a turn at that point, but I also felt the ending redeemed it. Might need to watch again to sort out my feelings on the whole thing. Read an article today where the director was asked if this kind of thing happens in real life (Marla's occupation) and he said, sadly it does. Scary! Watched I Care A Lot last night. What a roller coaster ride!!! If Marla didn’t die in the end I think I might have broken my tv!!!!! I hear people either hate this movie or love it. I’m definitely a lover.

Anyone watching In The Dark? I am enjoying the twists and turns and love the main character Murphey
I also enjoyed the first season of The Crew with Kevin James - very light hearted comedy about NASCAR racing

I can’t find anything decent to watch. In the end, I found Behind Her Eyes to be a big let down. Silly ending.

Big Sky on Hulu. We really like it. I rewatched the first episode with my parents and I asked them the next day of they liked it. They were already on episode 5. We've been watching that too! although we don't have Hulu I think we're watching it on the CW channel. All the characters are really well cast!

I just watched Ginny and Georgia. I really enjoyed it. Very engaging characters, except for the best friend, who was OTT and too much for me.
I have to wonder, sometimes, if the writers have ever been to a "regular" high school. So many things seem a little crazy Hollywood to me. Still, enjoyed this series.

On a role today with feel-good movies. Just finished watching a sentimental one that a friend recommended. A true story. PENGUIN BLOOM (‘20 Netflix). A bird helps a paralyzed mom heal. Thanks for recommending this movie. I watched it and it was great!. Last night we watched Finding Ohana on Amazon Prime. Reminded me of the Goonies but in Hawaii. We enjoyed this movie, too.

That’s exactly what my DH said about Finding Ohana - a modern day Goonies! Fun movie ! This weekend watched two fun movies: TOM & JERRY (‘21 HBOMax) and My Spy (‘20 AmazP).

We’re on series 3 of The Shield now and still loving it. If you like gritty police dramas like The Wire, you’ll like this.

If you're a history buff you might enjoy 'The Silk Road' on Prime.
Just stunning look at stops on the Silk Road through the eyes of a war correspondent, Alfred de Montesquiou. I am woefully ignorant of the history of the Middle East through to China. So it's been a good way to start to learn more about what I need to learn more about.
You see places all over the world and how different they are from what we normally see in our news reports. How the people are so similar to us and each other.
And gorgeous imagery.
There's another one that BBC did w/Dr. Sam Willis. Going to try to find that one too.

Your Honor on showtime. If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, you should love this one. It’s almost like Walter White meets The Godfather. Bryan Cranston plays the same kind of character on here too - mild mannered, always 3 steps ahead of everyone. I really enjoyed it. I fact, I feel now like I did after watching BB, nothing compares.

On April 4th Atlantic Crossing will premiere on PBS and the previews look quite good!

Right now we’re watching Unforgotten on Britbox. I’m really enjoying this British series about police reopening what they call historical (unsolved) cases.

We watched the first few episodes of The Durrells in Corfu on Prime. It's a Masterpiece Theater show about a British widow who moves her family of four children to Corfu in the 1930s. It's based on a true story. We're really enjoying the show -- the family dynamics, their friendships, and especially the youngest child.

No, we can't get it in Canada except by buying it by the season, which we might do at some point. I have seen her in Scott & Bailey though and really like her.
