Today. Women's breast health care facility.Mammogram. I do get out every day and walk the dogs. Sometimes twice. It has been nice and to not have snow is just too perfect. Our city has put a ban on any non-emergency tests, procedures and screenings. My city is dead-last to do anything for this crisis, so I am surprised that they preemptively canceled all for the foreseeable future.

The library, the day they announced they were closing. I think that was last Friday....? It wasn't very crowded though, and with self-checkout there was no need to be too close to people. Before that the most crowded place I'd been in was either the line at Costco or church.

The Drs office and local hospital on Monday. I’m on a new medication and needed a dose change. I’ve had a cold over the weekend and was coughing. Out of an abundance of caution they sent me for a chest X-ray. All is clear, but it was a bit freaky. They were establishing a drive they test center in the parking garage, it looked like a scene from a movie. Everyone had to be screened to enter the hospital and then wear a sticker to document it. I had on a mask that the Drs office gave me. I felt a bit like it was an overreaction to get an X-ray, I didn’t have any other symptoms. I Both were pretty empty. Took about 15 minutes to get my X-ray. I don't think it was an overreaction at all. Most COVID19 is spread through the air, according to Dr. Michael Osterholm, infectious disease specialist at the university of Minnesota. Other than a drive yesterday and a run to store (me only), we have not left the house since the 9th.

I went to the UPS store last night (I had to drop off an Amazon return).. But there is one employee and a total of 3 of us there.
Last time I went to somewhere big was on Saturday.. I went to Hobby Lobby and Michaels..both places were pretty quiet. I needed to buy something for work and bought my DD some craft stuff.
I do have to go work everyday, so I am out there.. but back and forth to home and that is it.

Mine is work, I am still going. There are very few people here, most are working from home. I would be one of the last to be set up to work from home.

I went to the dentist a couple of weeks ago. And ugh, picking ds up from school. I HATE how they do the car riders. Everyone has to park, then go into the cafeteria, where the kids are waiting for dismal. They match you up by a number tag on the kids backpack vs one you bring. But the cafeteria is then packed with kids, grandparents, siblings, babies etc.
Last time I was there was Thursday. DS tested positive for flu Fri. It’s a germ factory nightmare.

I still have to go to work but I’ve gone from being around hundreds of people every day to about 8 people. I go to work and go straight home.

My last public place was for auto service and to get fuel (low fuel light was on). When I got home I did a pretty good detailing and then I covered it with the car cover so I wouldn't be tempted....
Unless we run out of food our only trips will be to check on our parents.

I went to the library yesterday. Best thing ever is that if they have to close the doors to the public they will take advantage of the closure to inventory etc. They are willing to check books out and bring them outside to people's cars if they call in their requests. Can you tell I live in a very very small town. Outside of summer story hour time I have never seen more then 3 or 4 people in the library at any given time.
My husband is still reporting in to the office but that might change today.
We canceled bible study for tonight and will reassess come this weekend for Sunday morning. More then likely will take the same 2 weeks off most organizations are doing.
I let my son go eat at a local diner with his friends yesterday morning for breakfast. Very few things left for Juniors and Seniors in high school. They wrote their most important ACT test yesterday before schools closed till April 3 and 4 of them wanted to eat and I said OK.
Most of our Mom and Pop restaurants are having to close already. They get their supplies from local grocery stores and not whole sale places. Shelves are pretty empty for staple food so if there is no food to buy there is nothing to cook with.

Brunch on Sunday. This is super hard for me. I don’t work, so church, the gym, shopping, meeting to eat with friends, going out with DH...I live for this stuff. I’ve been on the verge of tears for two days now. We were supposed to arrive in Vegas today to visit with my family, and I’m having a really hard time being stuck in the house. Cuddling my puppies and scrapping is what got me through today. Still super bummed. Hugs Kiki. I'm like you, a real people person. Yesterday DH was working indoors. Our very rare, much needed rain had stopped and the sun was out. I don't know what your living situation is like or if this would work for you, but I texted 3 of my neighbor friends and said I was going to sit in our driveway and invited them to join me with their own chair and sit 12 or so feet apart. I was alone for 10 minutes before one friend came out. Half an hour later another joined us. I was out there for a couple of hours and visited with several neighbor friends in what ended up being 3-4 of us at a time. Some I hadn't texted saw us outside and came out too.

Oral surgeon for a check today snd then to target. Yesterday I went to get my hair colored - no other customers just me snd the colorist. I figure it was about as safe as anyplace else since she was wiping everything down and has been really careful. If it was a normal salon I would have passed. I cancelled my dental cleaning at the end of the month I think it’s the third time I’ve cancelled now ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg) . I cancelled my dental cleaning/exam which was to have been yesterday and I had been way overdue, after going religiously every 4 months for a long time. ugh. I feel ya.

Besides Costco and the grocery store on March 3rd, the last time I was out was February 21st, to go to book club. Our next meeting was scheduled for this Friday, but we have canceled it. If this is a competition i think you might be the winner! Way to go!

The last place I went was on Friday March 13th to the medical marijuana dispensary to stock up on some medical marijuana -I usually go every 2 weeks and buy enough for a 2 week period. There is a wonderful dispensary we have right in town that I've been going to since they opened about a year ago. I was worried it'd be packed and they'd be low on stock on everything, but when I got there I was pleasantly surprised-not crowded at all and full stock. I bought enough for a month or more just in case. It's been helping me enormously in preventing my chronic migraines.
Oh, and a very quick stop at my local yarn store to pick up one more ball of yarn I need to finish the scarf I'm knitting for my first project. They'd just gotten a huge shipment in of the brand I'm using but not the color I needed. Guess I'll have to buy it online and hope it matches. It's a hand dyed wool and those colors can vary.
The time before that was to our local library to pick up my books on hold. I think that was earlier that week-maybe Tuesday so March 10. Our library shut down for a month on Friday.
The last day I was out was Friday.

Last Friday DD and I stopped at Costco, Walgreens and finally Aldi on our way home to get some mini chocolate covered donuts, LOL.
I finally got caught up on paperwork in the office. Now I have a big stack of stuff that won’t fit on the clip in our locking mailbox so we need to go to the post office to put it in their big drop box, but I can do that without even getting out of the car.
ETA: I answered that wrong because all of the last places I went were stores! The last NONstore place I went had to have been my neighbor’s house to bring DD to her kid’s (very small, 2 kids) birthday party last Thursday.

Going to the dentist today to get a crown installed...it was scheduled for next week but they're shutting down next week so... I have a recurring nightmare scenario that I'm in a post-apocalyptic world with a tooth ache (Castaway style). Right now I have a temporary and just want the permanent asap because who knows what the world is gonna look like by the end of the week.

hmmm- I went to a scrapbook supply 'garage sale' on 3/14; I knew it was a bit risky, but there really weren't many people there and I didn't interact too closely with anyone. I won't have much problem with social distancing; my DH and I are pretty much recluses ordinarily, anyway.

Dh is an essential worker, he’s a correction officer at the jail in a major city. An employee has tested positive so they are taking everyones temperature as they enter the building.

I am at work and until they shut us all down I'm sure we will stay open. Yesterday I drove thru a coffee place because my dd who lives in CA loves the coffee from a local coffee place. She ordered some coffee on line and they delivered it a local to me store in Wa instead of to her home. ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/rolleyes.jpg.gif) I picked it up and will send it via our daily fedex delivery guy who doesn't have to come near any of us. Last Saturday dh and I went to Lowes to pick up a new light fixture for our dining room. There were only a few people there and we stayed safely away from the cashier. The Costco across the street from it was jammed full of people. Other than restaurants and bars it looks like normal traffic around here. I work on a very busy thoroughfare and it's business as usual. ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/rolleyes.jpg.gif) I wish they would say "enough is enough! STAY HOME!" but so far they haven't. We have 4 confirmed cases in our city so far, so who knows how many others are carrying it and don't know it yet. (Including me for gosh sakes!)

Dinner and Starbucks on Saturday.
We walk the path by our house every day. There are still many people patronizing the stores in our local village.
