March 25 EMS call volume in NYC was 6,406 911 calls - the city’s highest call volume ever - surpassing 9/11/2001 service demands.
March 26 EMS call volume in NYC was 7,111: an 11% day-over-day increase.
COVID-19’s community transmission is now 2:1 over travel-related transmission.
Such sobering numbers.

A sample of today’s press conference with the idiot.
Yamiche Alcindor...
”Trump declined to answer if everyone who needs a ventilator will have one. He calls @jonkarl a "wise guy" says "don't be a cutie pie."
Trump also said: "I think we are in great shape...We have distributed vast numbers of ventilators and we are prepared to do vast numbers."
Kyle Griffin...
”Trump said he doesn't think Pence should call governors who don't treat him well: "He calls all the governors. I tell him —I mean, I'm a different type of person— I say, 'Mike, don't call the governor of Washington. You're wasting your time ... Don't call the woman in Michigan.'"
Walter Shaub..
”I thought I was angry before this press conference.”
Daniel Dale...
”As he did on Twitter, Trump said at this briefing that he thinks GM's Lordstown plant would be a good place to build ventilators.
GM sold the plant last year. Trump boasted about the sale on Twitter.”
”Trump says you can call this a flu, or a germ, or a virus, and actually nobody even knows what it is.
It is a coronavirus. A kind of virus. It is not a flu. We know what it is.”
”Again, the Trump sections of these briefings are thoroughly dishonest. Can't even keep up today.”
Pod Save America
”Trump ties federal #coronavirus aid for governors to personal praise: "If they don't treat you right, I don't call"

What dipshit doesn’t get, when he ignores requests/calls from the states because they aren’t “appreciative “ he isn’t hurting the governors, he is hurting American Citizens and in this case they could die because he isn’t being treated the way he thinks he should be treated.
Its not about him. Again I go back to a moral compass, knowing the difference between right & wrong and acting accordingly. Which he doesn’t have.
As far as they not saying things that aren’t true and this coming from trump? Words fail me.
JM Rieger..
”REPORTER: What more specifically do you want the [governors] to do?
TRUMP: All I want them to do — very simple — I want them to be appreciative. I don’t want them to say things that aren’t true. … You know what I say? 'If they don't treat you right, I don't call.'

Dr. Birx (coronavirus task force), on camera, praises Trump's understanding of the science and attention to detail in scientific literature... how could she even say this with a straight face? (or, since she's on a Christian network, without a bolt of lightning striking her down for lying?) Dr. Birx Unbelievably Claims Trump Attentive to Details...“I think his ability to analyze and integrate data that comes out of his long history in business has really been a real benefit during these discussions about medical issues,” she said." <cough cough...> <bullshit> <cough cough> Today: OMG OPEN A PLANT. MAKE VENTILATORS NOW” A reminder, because of this chaotic leadership people will die. But hey if it’s under 1% trump says that’s ok. Today: OMG OPEN A PLANT. MAKE VENTILATORS NOW” A reminder, because of this chaotic leadership people will die. But hey if it’s under 1% trump says that’s ok. Today: OMG OPEN A PLANT. MAKE VENTILATORS NOW” A reminder, because of this chaotic leadership people will die. But hey if it’s under 1% trump says that’s ok. ‘She drank the Kool-Aid’: Viewers baffled as Dr. Birx ‘incinerates her credibility’ by praising Trump for being ‘attentive to scientific literature’

This will truly break your heart! It involves the death of a 17 yr old in California............. coronavirus..
In a video posted on YouTube on Wednesday, Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris noted that the boy “had no previous health conditions” and that his condition deteriorated rapidly.

John Aravosis...
”So Trump claims: 1) Obama didn’t prepare all the stockpiles we needed to confront the coronavirus; and 2) The reason Trump didn’t prepare all the stockpiles over the last three years is no one could’ve predicted the need for them.
Then how could obama have predicted the need?”
Logic is not one of trump’s strong suits.

“Trump chips away at Congress' role in coronavirus relief oversight”“President Donald Trump intends to ignore provisions in the newly passed $2 trillion coronavirus relief bill intended to shore up Congress' oversight of the massive rescue program. The legislation establishes a "special inspector general" to review and investigate loan decisions made by the treasury secretary as part of the coronavirus relief effort, an accountability measure that was a central part of Democrats' demands to shore up transparency in the bill. The provision requires the inspector general to notify Congress if he or she is "unreasonably refused or not provided" any information. ”But in a signing statement issued shortly after he approved the bill, Trump says he'll be the last word on whether this provision is followed. "I do not understand, and my Administration will not treat, this provision as permitting the [inspector general] to issue reports to the Congress without the presidential supervision required" by Article II of the Constitution, Trump said in the signing statement. Trump also indicated he would treat as optional a requirement in the bill that key congressional committees be consulted before Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of State or U.S. Agency for International Development spends or reallocates certain funds. " These provisions are impermissible forms of congressional aggrandizement with respect to the execution of the laws," Trump says in the statement.Trump's incursion on Congress' involvement in key aspects of the law could rankle congressional Democrats, who conditioned their support for the enormous rescue package on stepped up oversight over the $500 billion fund meant to support distressed industries and companies.” So trump doesn’t like a provision in a bill that both the House and Senate passed and he signed and he is just going to ignore it.

I wonder who wrote it? He did not! Remember dis-Barr-him has told him with the court that Congress did not really have oversight, even though there is a committee Named Oversight!!

Someone ha few balls, and she ain't a male! Rachel Bovard, senior director of policy at the Conservative Partnership Institute, called for greater oversight of how the U.S. Treasury and Secretary Steven Mnuchin implement part of the $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus bill.Bovard added the bill, which was passed by the House on Friday and is expected to be signed by President Trump later, favors corporate interests over workers. “We just made Steven Mnuchin the most powerful treasury secretary in modern history, maybe in all of history,” she said. “This is a guy who is now running a jobs program who has never created a job in his life.”“I think there’s going to need to be a lot of oversight done for where this money goes, but again I think it just shows you the corporatism inherit within the Republican party and a lot of the establishment Democrats as well; it wins out every time against the American workers and families, and it just did again,” she said. As part of the bill, the Treasury Department will manage a $500 billion fund intended to dole out loans and loan guarantees to companies. Democrats pushed for some restrictions on the aid, including appointing an inspector general to provide oversight.** thehill.com/hilltv/rising/489879-conservative-group-calls-for-careful-oversight-of-treasury-in-stimulus

I would love for just one person who is still planning on voting for Trump, or “vote their conscience” and do anything but vote for Democratic candidate to defeat him explain how they sleep at night. That’d be great. Bonus if they can explain voting to re-elect anyone who has enabled him to get to this point.

This shows how dumb trump really is.
Ronald Brownstein ....
”On national TV, Trump has now repeatedly said states should be pushed to the back of the line for life-saving material aid if their governors don’t play ball w/his political needs. How does that differ from what he did to Ukraine? Genuine question for GOP Sens who voted to acquit”
If the dimwit had one functioning brain cell, in spite of what the Governors of Michigan and New York said or he thinks they are saying about him, he would treat all states equally and would come off as the bigger man and a leader.
Instead the idiot makes it all about him and comes off as a petty vindictive asshole.
