Welcome to the church of trump........................... In Florida no less... I had read the article about the church services and forgot to post it an look here, more and better news!! A Florida megachurch pastor was arrested on Monday after repeatedly flouting warnings by local officials not to hold services during the coronavirus pandemic.Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister announced the arrest warrant Monday issued against Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne, who led crowded services Sunday at his at The River at Tampa Bay Church, reported WTVT-TV. “His reckless disregard for human life put hundreds of people in his congregation at risk and thousands of residents who may interact with them this week in danger,” Chronister said. Howard-Browne, an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump, refused to close its doors despite a “safer at home” order issued by the county meant to slow the spread of the coronavirus outbreak. “They are trying to beat me up, you know, over having the church operational,” Howard-Browne said on a livestream of Sunday’s services. “But we are not non-essential.” The pastor was charged with unlawful assembly in violation of public health emergency rules, a second-degree misdemeanor, and State attorney Andrew Warren warned that others could also face charges for disobeying public health orders. Records show he was was booked into a local jail and released about 40 minutes later after posting $500 bail. The sheriff estimated 400 to 500 worshipers packed Sunday’s services, and he chastised Howard-Browne for telling his followers that the coronavirus was a hoax. “I was appalled and also frightened at the fact that those individuals were thinking and believing they were doing the right thing,” Chronister said. “How many people are they going to infect if they have this #COVID19 now that they’re going to spread it back to the community as they return back to where they live?”** www.rawstory.com/2020/03/trump-loving-megachurch-pastor-faces-charges-for-packing-church-with-hundreds-despite-covid-19-warnings/?utm_source=&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=4146

If there is any other way Trump can #($* the office of POTUS I hope he doesn't find it. He is not the only loose cannon in DC. Cannot find an article or piece about this, but I did hear it earlier tonight. DOJ and dis-Barr-him have drawn up non-specific paper to cover ANY disaster and/or emergency (NOT just for now with Covid-19) to allowed delay indefinitely trials, sweeping powers etc above and beyond any normal powers. It is in the Constitution, but should only be for the specific current incident.

Remember when American CEOs were good-hearted, empathetic people who wouldn't take advantage of a pandemic to shill their "vertically integrated company"?

I have to say, the depth of trump’s ignorance is breathtaking. Julia Davis.. “Trump questioned why Russia was considered an enemy by many in the West. "We have problems with other countries, more than Russia." "Germany was the enemy and Germany is like this wonderful thing. Well, Germany takes advantage of us on trade for years." 🤦♀️ I know the man doesn’t read. But has he never watched a movie where they dive into why America and Russia don’t get along? Maybe he wants to watch Hunt for Red October or some other Jack Ryan stuff. Bridge of Spies is good. It has Tom Hanks in it. Everybody likes Tom Hanks! Dr. Strangelove is pretty funny, but it’s in black and white. Or maybe he could, I dunno, contact some PhDs who have studied the crap out of the dynamic between the countries and they can give him a brief rundown of why we’re not friends. I mean, he is the president. The knowledge is there and he can access all of it with a simple phone call or 2. I can’t wait to not have an imbecile for a President again.

I'm just listening to Governor Cuomo doing a briefing - Trump really must not like his blunt logical words! He was just talking about playing catch up with this virus because of the slowness of recognising that it was going to come to America. No doubt tweets will follow

I hope the families sue the shit out of everyone with power who said this was a hoax and not a big deal and told us we shouldn’t prepare. There may be others in trouble(not likely but who knows)The Boston Globe thinks so! ‘Blood on his hands’: Brutal Boston Globe editorial declares Trump ‘unfit for a pandemic’Published 5 hours ago on March 31, 2020 By Brad Reed The Boston Globe’s editorial board didn’t pull any punches in a recent editorial condemning President Donald Trump as “unfit for a pandemic.” The editorial starts by recounting all of the ways that Trump downplayed the threat of the virus, while also hyping up unproven “cures” for the disease and floating totally unrealistic dates to reopen the economy. All of this has left the United States with more reported COVID-19 cases than any other country in the world, and the editorial argues that this shows Trump’s style of leadership is having lethal consequences for Americans. “The months the administration wasted with prevarication about the threat and its subsequent missteps will amount to exponentially more COVID-19 cases than were necessary. In other words, the president has blood on his hands,” the editors write. “It’s not too much for Americans to ask of their leaders that they be competent and informed when responding to a crisis of historic proportions. Instead, they have a White House marred by corruption and incompetence, whose mixed messages roil the markets and rock their sense of security.” ** more at link: www.rawstory.com/2020/03/blood-on-his-hands-brutal-boston-globe-editorial-declares-trump-unfit-for-a-pandemic/?utm_source=&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=4148Full editorial vv www.bostonglobe.com/2020/03/30/opinion/president-unfit-pandemic/Wondering could Fox get off the hook by claiming they were only repeating what the great leader said..........

All of this has left the United States with more reported COVID-19 cases than any other country in the world, and the editorial argues that this shows Trump’s style of leadership is having lethal consequences for Americans. And what boggles my mind is that we should have been able to learn some "lessons"about dealing with this from the countries this virus burned through before ours. But no, thanks to all the "it's just a cold/hoax" jackasses, we are probably going to suffer just as much if not more than those countries.
I'm so angry about how this was mishandled from the get go. And every time Trump's a$$ kissers brag about what an amazing job he has done, I want to throw things at my television.

”.@nygovcuomo once again says the ventilator bidding process doesn't make sense and federal govt--through FEMA--should control the price and take over purchasing.
He says states & FEMA are bidding against each other for necessary equipment and it doesn't make sense.”
Being sensible is not something the trump administration is known for.

The hardest-hit states dealing with this now are blue. As far as Trump is concerned, he will be happy if they have to bankrupt themselves bidding for scarce medical equipment. How much do you want to bet that he is happy to step in when multiple red states begin to complain? ETA. I have no doubt that he filters EVERY decision with two questions: 1. Did Obama like this policy (or alternatively what would Obama have done)?, and he then reacts with the opposite. 2. Does my decision help or hurt the blues states? And if it helps them, he will decide differently.

”Will be starting The White House news conference at 5:15 P.M. Eastern.”
It is now past 5:15 P.M. Eastern and yet again it’s not starting on time.
I don’t think they have started the news conference on time since they have been doing it on a daily basis.
If they can even get this right, how can they be trusted to get anything right?
It is 5:30 and the idiot is ready to start.

Daniel Dale...
”Trump says he spoke with internet/phone executives doing a great job dealing with the increased strain. He lists them. He says, "If you look at other continents...Europe...they went a different route than we did, and they're having tremendous problems." He doesn't specify here.”
Why does he always have to say we’re doing a better job then the other guy? Why can’t he just say what we are or are not doing and leave it at that.
I know, it’s the sign of an insecure person who needs constant reassurance even if it’s from himself.

”The surge is coming, and it's coming pretty strong," Trump says, so they're "holding back" 10,000 ventilators.”
So let me get this straight. Hospitals are desperate to get ventilators to keep people alive and the trump administration thinks it’s a good idea to hold them back?
Translation: We can’t concern ourselves with the 10,000 people that could die now without the ventilators, we have to worry about the 10,000 that might die in the future without the ventilators.

Because none of his family or friends have it yet so he wants to reserve some ventilators in case they do get it. That would be my guess. He’s just that kind of selfish, entitled asshole.
