I'm a pretty good organizer of things and of people ( so I've been told at work) I'm also pretty good at sewing. Not sure I'm better than 90% of other sewers though as I'm the biggest critic of my own work.

I have perfect pitch, so any song/music I hear, I can play the melody line on the piano. I’m also good at arranging fresh flowers, and sewing quilt block to exact points. And I’m a good listener.

Animating a social gathering. I’m the one circulating around chatting with everyone, pulling two people with a common interest together, and keeping it interesting and lively. My family and friends say it’s not a party until I’m there.

I'm an awesome organizer.
I'm also really good at building relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. Everyone in our office and jobsite would ask me if I had a contact for X and I usually did. We were in heavy industrial/petrochemical construction, so many services and goods are unusual.

Staying on top of memory keeping and scrapbooking. I've kept up my daughter's books - it is both satisfying and my creative outlet.
Staying organized with bills, documentation and records. Love making spreadsheets, staying organized in Evernote, etc.

My friends call me “the connector.” I’m not mad about that I’m always finding ways to introduce people with common interests and love to watch the friendships form.

What a fun thread! So much fun to see another side of the peas.
My talent would be “fly specking”. Don’t know if this term exists out side of my family. It means you are good at slogging thru the minutiae in things like contracts, accounts, research... I don’t necessarily enjoy it, but I’m really good at it. I think it’s what made me a good curator & what makes me a good nurse practitioner. Little details don’t usually get by me. I’m also pretty good at taking all the minutiae and constructing the “big picture”.

Firing people. No, I do not enjoy it. It is hard. But I am particularly good at it yes, i used to have to do this when i was a recruiter for a staffing company. of course not fun, but treating people with dignity and offering options and hoping they leave feeling less than hopeless and perhaps even hopeful was always my goal. along the same line, i can also deliver negative messages in a positive manner. stay focussed on issue at hand without dragging 10 other things into it and being fair and reasonable. many of my friends ask "how would handle this.....". it's nice to feel valued.

Cursive handwriting. I'm always getting comments about my "beautiful" handwriting and I love using pen, ink and paper to record everything I need to vs. current methods using smart phones and computers. Of course I use a computer for a few hours every day just for fun, but I do also keep a journal in my purse that I call my "brain" where I write down any and everything I want to remember.
Procrastination. I'm a whiz at procrastination.

Analyzing situations & thinking logically
Being stubborn, I can guarantee you if there's a battle of wills and someone has to give in - it won't be me.

That’s one of my BFF’s superpowers. That and winning those Skill Crane games without spending more than $1-2 max. I have a great West compass- the mountains. When my dad visited CO and drove around the city in his RV... I said- look to the mountains for west... He got lost many times, so I'm not sure of his internal compass- LOL Nope I am terrible at that! I am also good at organizing.

Keeping secrets If you tell me something and ask me not to tell anyone, I won't. As one school mum found out when she told me all about her falling out with another mum, I guess because I chat to all and sundry she thought I'd tell everyone but I didn't mention it at all. I had to smile to myself when two days later, in the company of me and other mums she shared her story. Clearly I'm a rubbish gossip. 👍 A fellow secret keeper! So rare. I never tell anything that I have been told in confidence.

I retired from my work as a social worker in July, but I think I was a better social worker than 90% of the many social workers I worked with over the years. I mean 90% is high, and I would probably feel better saying 75%, but I know I was a really really good social worker and advocate.
Scrapbooking is my main hobby and I have completed more albums that anyone I know. They are not slapped together either. My adult sons have their entire lives scrapbooked up through Jan 2020, and my 14 month old granddaughter has 12 months of her life completely scrapbooked.
I'm also really really good at directions and map reading, but like others, probably not better than 90% of people, but definitely 90% of people I know!
