Who else is crafting today?
I've been making and sending out cards to all of the ladies at church for months now (DH is the new Pastor at a church in Northern Il) and I think with this Stay At Home order it is time to ramp it up to the kids/teens and also some nursing homes in the area. <3
What are your favorite places to go for card making inspiration?

I intended to work on more Christmas cards today but unfortunately I need to do a sympathy card instead. I find those to be ready hard.
As far as inspiration goes I head to Pinterest and YouTube. Jennifer McGuire is a favorite as is GinaK. Kristie Marcotte is a miracle worker with a 6x6 paper pad. Two other favorites are paperplaysketches.blogspot.com. and the mojo Monday sketches at poeticartistry.blogspot.com Tons of sketches along with card examples.

I'm making cards for the residents and staff of a nursing home - we need 160 total (DD13 is making some) so I'm keeping it super simple and postcard style
standard size white cardstock (1/4 of a 8.5x11 sheet) with a smaller rectangle of PP and a strip of contrasting/coordinating cardstock with a stamped sentiment. I'll write a quick (short) message on the back and sign

One suggestion I have is to see what you actually have on hand to use for card making, then check for ideas on how to use those specific items. For example, if you are interested in doing something with Lawn Fawn dies, or My Favorite Things stamps, you can look up ideas on Pinterest for what dies or stamps you actually have, as well as on YouTube, and the company sites.
I’ve been addicted to making shaker cards lately. Queen and Company makes some extremely fun sets, but I have also found shakers at My Favorite Things and Lawn Fawn.

I follow Kristie Marcotte. I have 3 of the Queen & Co Foundation Die sets. They make card making so easy, plus I’m a fan of the clean and simple style. I finished these today to send to family. The chicken stamp is from Stampin Up and the paper is mostly Amy Tangerine “ The Sweet Life” 6x6.

What are your favorite places to go for card making inspiration? I follow a ton of cardmaking blogs and YouTubers. I've found most of them through design teams for various manufacturers (The Stamp Market, Hero Arts, etc) and by searching Instagram with a hashtag for the manufacturer. A few favourites who I can always count on to have great videos on YouTube (and good blogs, too) are: Justine Hovey Yana Smakula Cathy Zielske (she has fairly quick and easy cards) Laura Bassen @bhardy, A Blog called Wanda is one of my faves, too.
