Like others my mojo has been hit and miss during March. I did completely use up a pack of 12 sheet of 12x12 patterned paper I bought at Tuesday Morning. That realization was a good feeling.
I also realized I’ve made a great dent in one of my bargain packs of cardstock. Picked up these two packs of black cardstock at Hobby Lobby months ago. They were marked down from $15.99 to $3.99. I picked them up before I started making cards for Cards for Soldiers. I only bought two packs, kind of wish I would have picked up 3 or 4 now!

Hoping to start afresh today. March was a wash for me. No scrapping. No cards. Work was INCREDIBLY busy given we're IN A FREAKING PANDEMIC. But I need to get back into the craftroom to calm my mind and give me some peace. Here's hoping. I keep telling myself the same thing: I need to make some cards to get my mind off everything for a few hours. I tell myself every weekend that I'm going to do it but I'm so exhausted that I chill on the couch. Me too Getting a step by step kit helped me because I could just follow directions & not think. It was rather peaceful

It was rather peaceful I finally did it. Made myself go upstairs in my room by myself and dove into my stash Sunday afternoon. I only made 10 cards but it was a start. I've asked my girls to go down into the basement and bring up my table so I can put it in our spare room and have a place to calm down and relax. I told my DH that if I put my stuff away, I won't get it out again.

hello all. I think I am finally mentally able to be scrappy again. I so miss my craft. I have so many new pretty things. So many ideas, and I got extra adhesive.
I am still working but I have a four day weekend. I have a ton of food. Its just DH and I. The weather is suppose to be crappy too..all the more reason to be inside and not on porch or go for a walk. I think even if I just sit in my crafty space I will be happy. I have a bit more cleaning to do in there. last couple weekends I have forced myself off the couch and go in there for a bit at a time and clean up put stuff away.
I have stopped watching the news (I don't watch the news at all, but since this whole crisis I have read, watched , listened all the time..its just too much.)
I'm declaring this weekend Pink Bubble Weekend. In the pink bubble its all happy crafty things. I hope everyone stays safe and has enough adhesive.

Well, this has gotten me back to scrapbooking again. I have mostly made cards and taught a free card class in my home for the past year and back further. I’m not involved in MLM or any kind of sales, I just invited friends over who were interested. That has come to an end, and I am finally scrapbooking pictures that have waited far too long.

The mail today brought me FIVE packages of scrappiness! I got my individual paper order from scrapyourtrip.com. I missed getting any of their 'pandemic' collection by one day because they shipped on the day it was released. I love theme paper and as I went through each each piece I can see which pictures are going on them.
Then there were 2 packages of print and cut die cuts I ordered on Facebook's Scrapbook Deals. I prefer pieced die cuts but these were as cheap as 25 cents a piece. There was so many I got butterflies just thinking about putting them on my pages. 2 packages had stickers I also can't wait to use. All of these were also from Scrapbook deals.
I guess next week or so I'll get my big Echo Park order. I will have to step my pseudo organization efforts to find a place for these goodies.
In the mean time I have photos waiting at Walgreens, and will try to send another order on Easter after we take photos.
Lastly, my friend ordered me the new Stampin Up trimmer and I get it from her tomorrow. Her DH works at Walmart and he's bringing it to work to give to me. I will let you all know how I like it.

In the ongoing search for my childhood photos, I came across a magnetic album of memorabilia from DS's childhood. Luckily the sticky pages were not at all sticky! It all came out easily. I'm creating a better album for him. It's been fun to see all the stuff.

Somehow I've managed to misplace all the vacation photos I printed in February. I'm fairly sure I sorted them into page protectors in an album to wait to be scrapped, but where the heck did I put the album? I couldn't lose a whole album! ETA 4/13 10pm: Found it. Not even buried. Right in front of my freakin nose.

I'm waiting for delivery of my March photos.
It'll be strange scrapping photos that were all shot in the same location.
Yesterday i took pics of the kids dying Easter eggs. Tomorrow I'll take pics of our little at home egg hunt & the kids with their baskets. And maybe I can convince Some of them to wear the bunny ear headbands.
I pulled out my small set of Easter stamps. Maybe I'll mess around with them today or tomorrow, make some embellishments.

Good news for the scrappy economy--maybe NOT good news for my bank account! MY LSS had some things in stock that I have been waiting for, and they are offering an on line class this coming Friday. I emailed to see if they were going to record the Zoom class so I could watch it with the group but then re-watch it when my kit arrived in the mail. (It wouldn't go out until Tuesday, and it takes awhile for parcels to get to our local post office: has to go to Edmonton first, then back here.) Anyway, she got back to me to tell me that her husband works up in this area and after I sent her a pin, she says HE CAN DELIVER MY SCRAPPY PACKAGE RIGHT TO MY DOOR!!!
I have lots of photos from this week b/c we actually have people here at the farm. They were very careful isolating before they came and are staying for a longer period of time than usual.
We coloured eggs yesterday. I missed the egg hunt that took place R-E-A-L-L-Y early this morning, but have one of the little guy with his haul.

I stamped Easter images (bunny, eggs, "egg hunt" phrase, basket with eggs) on pastel cardstock scraps today.
I'm thinking of snagging some Easter grass to include on a layout, maybe a shaker box.

I pulled out two pads of Park Lane's Woodland creatures and started making some pages. I made five double pages with the paper. I'll make three more sets of them for friends.

I (over) indulged in some retail therapy yesterday. Other than a couple of Christmas collections, I haven't really shopped any new collections for... well I don't know how long. Maybe a year. There's been a lot that I like but haven't purchased anything because I have so much in my stash that needs to be used up. Yesterday though I placed orders for: - Combination of products from Echo Park's last two Easter lines - Most of the Crate Paper Magical Forest collection - A few pieces from the Crate Paper Hey, Pumpkin collection - Most of the Carta Bella Farmhouse Market collection (which I've been seriously longing for!) I did stop myself from buying a whole bunch of older Crate Paper products still in stock direct with American Crafts. But they're still in my cart...
Now I just hope that my packages don't arrive while my husband is at home

I ordered some of the Bo Bunny Little Wonder paper the other day. I knew I had several packages of the stickers in my stash. I ordered enough to make 16+ pages for myself and a few friends. Went to look for the stickers AND found enough packages of the stickers and the ephemera for four sets of pages. Woot. I forgot I double bought the ephemera packs last summer.
Off to make up some kits.
