I've watched seasons of the french chateau.. they come up with all sorts of clever ideas to make money and they are both very clever and resourceful.. I recommend it.: Escape to the Chateau...

Dh and I got HOOKED on that one night! He loved the episode about refacing the copper pans. When we tried to watch the whole series it wasn't available.  Thanks for sharing...I find this fascinating! |

These sorts of things are keeping us sane. DH and I are planning to retire in 3-5 years, and hope to move to France then. We've been checking out homes and thinking about what we are willing to do and what we can't do. I could actually see us buying a chateau to renovate if we find one with good structure and a good price,.

There's a series where Dick and Angel help other people who are renovating chateaux - quite a trend - you might need to snap one up!  |
