Hornblower Cruises now services the Canadian side of the falls. They recently took over from the "Maid of the Mist", which had to contract for (I believe) 50 years.
Maid of the Mist still has the contract from the USA side of the falls. Kinda funny that an American company services the Canadian side and a Canadian company services the American side of the falls.
The Journey behind the Falls is a great tour as you go down an elevator to a 'balcony' where you see the water streaming off the falls right in front of you! This is best in the summer, as the water is cold.

Fun! And your photos are beautiful.
DH and I were there several years ago, same hotel, same time of year. The views were amazing as the leaves were in full colour at the time. Such a pretty spot!

Thanks again, ladies, and thank you lostinspace for the information about the boat tours. I wasn't clear on what the situation and names were now. We could see the boats going out from each side but I did not know what had happened regarding the name Maid of the Mist.
