Someone should do a Pacific NW "beach" line - grey, rocky coastlines, people in sweaters and boots, pine trees, clouds, wind and rain... Sort of like HS Wolf Pack but at the coast. A lot of us could use that. No, sorry. "We're scrapbook manufacturers and we only understand one way to do 'beach' (or 'girl', or 'home', or....)" And it had better be the "Best Day Ever" and coordinate with PINK, Pink, and what other color...oh, PINK! That's all we know and are allowed to do, so you scrappers need to make sure your life and photos coordinate with us... |

I haven't seen the preview for Carta Bella's By the Sea (the links are coming up invalid for me on the other post of the new Echo Park/Carta Bella lines), but artbabe posted that they were glad to see it isn't tropical.

It would be called "beachcomber" and it would include images of ferries on the water, rocky small uninhabited islands, sea otters, an orca or two, a wet suit, some bull kelp, sea dollars, clam shells, barnacles, and sayings like "I wear my rubber boots to the beach". I miss my coast. I think "Wolf Pack" is EXACTLY the feel it should have! Love this idea. I hope Heidi Swapp's people read here! |
