... that is not linear or a grid design. Done and done to death in my current album.
I have a fun topic and fun papers picked out, and I'm looking for a more free form design to use with them.
Organic, curves, circles.
One page, 12x12.
Any ideas for me? Link me up!

I like that, Linda. Everything is toward the center. But with the 4 same size photos, it ends up looking a lot like a grid to me regardless of what other shapes are on the page. I think I might make a big wave shape to follow. Or maybe I'll just drop one of the photos and use a sketch like the one you suggested. (I'll just put the extra one on the next page instead. ) Still thinking about this one...

I like the big circle layouts I've seen, but I don't have a way to cut a big circle accurately. I could make a messy one though, out of die cuts or paints. Maybe...

This one has an extra photo, but it would work with four. The tilting and overlapping adds fun and takes away from the grid look. Pinned LO

I also like this one. The photos here are square, but this would work with rectangular photos as well. 4 photo sketch

I don't have a sketch, but as I read your post, I immediately thought to place 3 photos in a line across the top or bottom, and then put the 4th photo at an angle in the other space. Mat it or double mat it. Put a journal area or title next to it etc. Just a thought.

So many good ideas. I'm still not sure what the plan is yet. I'll look at it again tomorrow.
Thanks for your suggestions everyone!

I like that diamond shaped arrangement a lot 950nancy. It's similar in some ways to the second one grammadee suggested. I'll take a look at it in the morning and see if I can make it work. Thanks! ETA, yes, I like it. I was a little concerned because I already put a border on the background paper, and I was thinking I'd need to mat the photos, so both those things would impact the amount of available space on the page. But I think it'll be good. Thanks again!
