I've got some fabric that I'm making face masks from. There is some disagreement on what the animal on the fabric is. Curious to see who is correct in this, me or my sister? Give me a minute to add the photo in Tapatalk. ETA: The fabric is from Japan, designed by a Japanese designer. If that helps any.

Weird rabbits.
If it's a dog, then it looks like a bulldog or similar breed, but then the ears are too long... which is why I think it's a rabbit.

Bunnies, and the cottontails just reinforced it for me.

Face dog. Ears and butt scream rabbit. I vote rabbit.
I was trying to decide if the body was exclusively dog or rabbit; I think it's rabbit, but I have two dogs with that shape, so I am not including that in my decision.

Rabbit. The ears and tail I think look like rabbit parts. 😄

No. It's by Hitmoi Osumi, and printed in Japan. Collection name is Mori No Tomodachi.

Rabbit...before I read any other replies. It has a fluffy bunny tail...I can't think of another animal that has those.

What’s the fabric called usagi? I was about to tag you. I found it on the Cotton + Steel website. It's called Usagi Chan. Can you translate?

It’s a dogbunny. Duh.
The square shape of the head makes it look more like a dog. The rest looks like a bunny.

I understand that it’s probably supposed to be a bunny, but I cannot get past that giant, ugly dog face.

All I see is a dog. FWIW, my pup looks like a bunny and definitely has a bunny tail.

Creepy rabbit. My immediate thought was rabbit and then no wait it’s a dog but then I realized it had to be a rabbit because of the ears and tail. But the face does scream more dog than rabbit - and the way the body is, too.

It looks unmistakably bunny to me. I don’t see anything dog-like at all. Oh, maybe it’s the muzzle-looking thing?

Google translate says usagi = rabbit I was just coming to post that I'd finally figured that out, though not through Google translate. So it seems that it is a bunny. HA! I bought this fabric at quilt festival in November, thinking that it was a dog. Seriously looked like a cartoonish version of a dachshund to me. Pulled it out tonight to make face masks and sent a picture to my sister, who immediately says "Bunnies". Go figure! Well, art is subjective and to me it's going to be a weird dog! I see some others think it's a weird dog as well. Thanks for playing along everyone!
