I know, I know. In the grand scheme of things, a freshly laundered nightgown is nothing to write home about. However, in our current times, I think it is something special. I lay here surfing the internet and realize that my nightgown smells fantastic! Normally, this would not be something that registered on my radar but tonight it did.
So, what small things are you noticing that would have previously passed you by?

Fresh sheets that someone else washed and put on the bed. Fresh sheets that someone else washed, ironed and then put on the bed. One of the things I miss most about my housekeeper in Jakarta.

I put my Jean's and hoodie in the dryer to warm them up before I got dressed. Simple things make me smile.

Birdsong. We live just outside the city so it's usually very busy but in all the quiet I can hear the birds singing, it's beautiful.

I haven’t heard the term nightgown in forever. I wear tee shirts to bed so it doesn’t feel any different clean or not.
Fresh sheets, I love though .

Fresh sheets are the best. Next best is refreshing them with linen spray.

I always make an announcement to DH "It's clean sheet night!" I'm not sure he loves it as much as I do.

My sheets are in the dryer and I shaved my legs this morning for the first time in forever...I’m already excited to go to bed tonight.

I love to stretch out in a freshly made bed. Not sure I would ever leave the bed if the sheets were ironed though.

Fresh, cool sheets are just heavenly. I don’t wear a nightgown but that is probably similar. I wear a tank.

Fresh sheets that someone else washed and put on the bed. Where is this phenomenon you speak of??? One year I was working full time (on my feet all day) and pregnant. We got a house cleaner for 6 months and it was glorious.

My sheets are in the dryer and I shaved my legs this morning for the first time in forever. Yes! Especially when the bedroom is the perfect temperature!

Freshly lotioned body after a soaking bath and fresh cool, crisp sheets to lay said body on. That is heaven!

Clean, fresh sheets mean time for sex in our house!
DH: What are you washing? Me: Sheets DH: *waggles his eyebrows* and slaps me on the butt
Does anyone else think there will be a baby boom 9 months after this is over?

Oh yes, I think there will be a baby boom and a bunch of divorces, too.

Me: Sheets DH: *waggles his eyebrows* and slaps me on the butt Does anyone else think there will be a baby boom 9 months after this is over? Ha ha ha! It would be just the opposite at my house. Who wants to sleep anywhere near the manky spot when the rest of the bed is clean and fresh? I’d much rather do the deed and THEN immediately wash the sheets! And yes, I think there will be a baby boom in another 36-40 weeks but thanks to menopause I won’t be having any part of that!
